This is simply brilliant. Excellent battery life, excellent integration of FW and everything else and best feel. I have tried many ROMs out there and can confidently say that this is a truly nicely done ROM with many optional features. I am using Sony Experia keyboard, walkman music, Aapex launcher, Boeffla kernel, 4.2 camera and clock, MIUI file explorer (intelligent), JB Domination theme. All these are installed from one Aroma installer and works superbly.

Frankly, only few are able to do this master piece.

Kudos man!

the problem I am facing is rejection from some ppl to even try, u knw that in one day I have got 13 times 1 star vote for the ROM thread, its like an organized campaign to under estemate ppl work, rly thats a shame on who ever did it

its just fanboys of other roms trying to turn people away from something that might be better than what their 'dev' is providing

carry on as you are, ignore the childish people on this forum

I have tried some of the ROMs out there that were allegedly copied from. None of them that I tested even come closer to this one. If I have to name one that was similar to this one but still with lesser options is crDroid (but I don't think that the Dev is a flamer anyway).

Those who are doing this persistently should be punished by the moderator for doing so. All these ROMs stem from the stock samsung rom and got some face lifting, additional options, tweaks and improvements. I duly acknowledge all the time and effort put in to this by all contributors and need to always be mentioned and credited. beyond that it still remains Android (Linux at large) with some extra from SAMSUNG! IMHO, CM does a superb job except for some of the proprietary drivers that make battery life and camera a challenge. JB Domination is hugely credited for beautifully bringing AOSP theme to our device. I would be more than happy to stay with stock or just use AOSP/AOKP/CM10.1 had it not be for better battery life. I am using 4.2 camera anyway.

Conclusion, whatever others say, this work remains superb. Keep up the good work. Disagree with others without being disagreeable. the rest is their problem.

    Since I don't own the S3 anymore @Arsaw will continue developing Chaos ROM in this Thread, The ROM will be called now Chaos Legacy

    The reason I start developing Chaos Rom is to join frameworks, mods, themes, apps, and more in one package to make users' life easier. This Rom includes:
    - 2 DPI - S4 apps - Stock & AOSP contacts - 3 In Call Screens - 4 themes - 4 Calendar apps - 6 Keyboards & Themes - 6 Sound Packs - 6 fonts - 7 Bootanimations - 4 Icons Packs - 10 Battery Styles - Auto 2G-3G Toggle - and almost every app you want.
    Hopefully in the feature you will be able to re-install any of these options without the need to re-flash the entire ROM.
    Hope you guys will enjoy this experience with Chaos World!
    From now on the base for the ROM will be 4.2.2 Jelly Bean since 4.1.2 is almost perfect now, one update per month would be enough for 4.1.2 for updating Kernels, Themes & apps but no major changes will be.    ​

    • How To
    Rom Installation:
    1. Download Chaos Rom and place it on your internal SDcard. If you flash from external SD Card please don't report issues.
    2. Boot your phone in Recovery mode.
    3. Backup!
    4. Select Install zip from sdcard.
    5. Select Choose zip from sdcard and browse to Chaos Rom.
    6. Select your wiping option in AROMA. Full wipe is always better!
    7. When done, reboot your device and enjoy!​
    Tips:

    - Install via latest CWM Touch if you used TWRP you may loose the theme.
    - If AROMA stucks, reboot and start again. However if the installation process reach the stage "Let Chaos Begin" just reboot.
    - if you want to re-install any theme, icons, sounds, fonts, bootanimation, Navigation bar or change DPI, Just SKIP installing SYSTEM and SKIP installing APPS
    - if you want to change apps also just SKIP installing SYSTEM and i do recomend to re-flash Theme and icons
    - You have to backup your sms because it will be deleted by default and backup your contacts in case you get any android.acore.process FC, then you have to clear contacts and contacts storage data.
    - For any misalignment in any application in 240 DPI mod (Sense Launcher, Video Player), go to Xposed apps settings and chose the application you want to fix, then go to DPI and set it to 320.
    - To chose any lockscreen wallpaper make sure to select Samsung Gallery during installation (chosen by default).
    - If you want to change the lock screen in Chaos framework, go to settings > Lockscreen > Lockscreen options > tick the AOSP lockscreen option (for both AOSP or Xperia Z).
    - To show time, date, AM/PM, or to change their colors, just navigate to time and date settings.
    - To set statusbar transparency/color, or drop down transparency/color, navigate to display settings.​
