The backup and restore of /preload is already included in the new recovery. You don't need the backup-script anymore.

Thanks a lot again for your time and effort. You're the proud fenomeno's successor ;) (sorry for my English)

Question guys. Is there a new hirox version which has default voltages but user changing enabled? So i can put my own voltages. Maybe on normal?

Hi, i use Extreme with AllianceROM.

Some questions.

1. How can this kernel be so fast? Bay far the fastest i have tried. And i have tried a few.
2.It does not seem to be battery friendly, how come with so much undervolting? It´s meant to bee battery friendly right?

1. It's a speedmod kernel, they are always blazing fast due to disabled logging and optimized libraries.

2. Must be your setup then, get an idle bbs dump and post it in the desired thread.

Hello! I'm currently using Chameleon. When I try to flash Hirox 5.7, I cant boot further than to the bootlogo. Instead I'm getting to recovery immediately. Tried both with CWM and ODIN. None of them working for me... And everytime I flash the hirox. I have to flash back to stock and after that to chameleon. Anyone who knows how to do it right?

This is only compatible with stock Sammy based ROM S

Edit : I also noticed more battery drain using extreme than speedmod k5-7 !? Anyone else ?

I'm using Hirox 5.7 Intensive with Chameleon 3.0.1 without any problem. Hirox is the best kernel that I tried on my S2.

Can we test row i/o and pegasusq scheduler on that kernel? I think that combination will improve more the performance. Please sorry about my bad english.

Thanks to developer!! Great work man!

Re: [Kernel] Phenomenal 6.1 ICS / Hirox 5.1 JB

To report. Kernel latest hirox medium seems ok, still watching battery and it seems decent, but phone is not allways smooth, animations sometimes stutters a little bit. Thats probably because hotplug changes, it needs more time to turn on second core and less time to turn it off. Row scheduler is missing which i find a bad thing. no option to manually change any gpu cpu values (which is good and bad thing). Battery resolts will come later today. :)

Intensive 5.7 perfect and better than previous versions.. Smooth, faster, little less battery saver, but it's normal with the new amazing scrolling and speed during the use...

Good Work Dear Geroxx :D:thumbup:

My resolts, first cycle. Really good. 30-50min more battery life than with jeboo 2.1, neatrom lite lsd.

1hour 10min of youtube watching.
