I was going to format my sdcard using Minitool Home Partition when it asked me whether to fill the sdcard with 0 or 1. Can anyone explain to me what is the difference between the two? Thanks in advance!

Do you want all the bits to show a 0 or a 1? Basically it will format every single bit on the device with a charge (1) or no charge (0). Because the SD card is nand flash, I would suggest formatting with a 1, as it will write slightly faster the next time you use the card.
