Why sell ace? Biel is working hard for us... I'm sure that we will have a fully working cm7. Don't lose the hope!

And the fact is that he never claimed to be a dev, he isn 't making this for recognition or money or thanks, just to help s5830i community. As far as he tries he can be congratulated, he has done a great work already. Even if he 's not a dev (in this case what is a dev?) he helped us, when you done nothing...

make you the work, and inform before, I actually fixed media scanner and headphones, as I builded CM7 for totoro with pshychogame, I was helping him. Kernel? How can I do that without the device if lopicl with device cant! Screen flicker? Talk with broadcom and they will answer you no reboot? Ask my new tester, like lopicl.00, how are the reboot on latest test builds? What I did? i builded from source first CM7 I created broadcomCM which actually supports 4 samsung bcm21553 devices and an alcatel one, I give hope for many people, and I made people belive in me, in a new CM7. If you think is as easy, do it yourself or be a coward and burn your ace, this is your choice not mine Btw, I was working in a CM10 for a new tab for my brother, and I realased a thing about wifi...

is it only for CM ?
i tested it on stock based custom rom and i feel like stock kernel..
cpu spy won't even show the cpu stats..
when i open cpu spy it shows this error "there was an error reading the CPL"
when i run the test on cpu spy it gave me this results:

i don't know what it means...
however no frills cpu shows there are two frequencies, 104 and 832
seven governors: smartassV2, conservative, ondemand, userspace, powersave, bcm21553, performance
six i/o scheduler: noop, deadline, cfq, vr, sio, bfq
despite these governors i felt the kernel is like the stock kernel..i don't know if it is made just for CM..
btw don't you think you should make a thread for your kernel instead of posting it in cm thread ? (just my opinion)

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. What's working:
- Everything except Bugs down here!
What's partially working:
HW LIBS: We are using alcatel pre-built libs due to his devices uses nearly an AOSP ROM. AOSP and CM are compatible, so we try to use the Alcatel libs to implement on our last build, this was kind of a mess because lots of libs call others, so we need to pre-built all the encoder and decoder libs, but with a succefully result.
Well, due to this libs are prebuilt libs, and just work 100% on AOSP, some CM configs does not work, and this include this:
- CRT Animation: This is a CM implelemtation, not on stock ROM from alcatel, so libs are not prepared to work with it.
- Screen Rotation animation: I don't know why, libsurfaceflinger is not compatible with effect of rotate CM do, that is why I've added a configuration on the build.prop that reverts the animation, making the rotation witout animation, jsut rotates as it should. If I activate the animation, green screen will show up while animation is working.
- CM Rendre effects: All the effects that CM added like the render effect don't work too because they were not implementend in AOSP, they were not implemented in our AOSP Alcatel libs, so it is not supported
Before asking, NO, this libs won't work on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich or plus.
Flash on camera: As far as I know, I've investiagted about it, and samsung used a weird interface to work with the flash on camera in stock rom. there is not a dedicated folder for that led, so i don't know yet how to implemetn it on CM7 camera app. THERE IS A FIX ON 3rd POST.
What's not working:
Native USB Tethering: USB tethering is started and with good configs (usb0 and rndis0) and seems no problem, logcat does not show nothing irrelevant, but we don't know why it is not working. I think it has something to do with brcm_switch.ko module, I'll take a look as soon as possible, but I don't know why does not work. Afaik brcm_switch.ko is not proper loaded, and I don't know the cause of it. YOU CAN FIX IT USING 3rd party apps.

- Restore Stock ROM with ODIN
- When done, Boot to stock CWM
- Wipe Data / Factory reset, Wipe Cache partititon... (this will revert data and cache to RFS)
- Reboot system now

Team BroadcmCM48Okey guys, I was out all the evenng, and now I can read everything. First of all thanks to all of you, you are a nice community (nearly all users, there are a few that don't know anything LOL), there are people supporting my choice, there are people that demand me a work. I don't really care, I though this poll was something nice to do, to have the users idea what they won't. Before anyone says, I'll do what I want to do, but now I was a bit confused, because CM7 is by far stable.
It's true, I created BroadcomCM and now broadcomCM is present on cooperve, totoro, v860 and just today on tassve. We are expanding our little community that fight against broadcom, and guys I'll told you so, WE WON! Broadcom did not want to release the drivers, but with some developers work over this months (not just me). We are a team, and I like people that thanks BroadcomCM apart from bieltv.3, because I'm just the "representant" and maybe if some users don't care, the guy that stay more time developing for this devices, but many users work on it.
I don't think people lost my respect, I thanked people that respects me, as I respect each user of XDA, as humans we are. We are here to learn and share. My work beneficts lots of people, lots of downloads on my server, but not just this, developers have learn from my work, for OUR work it's not just a think of create a ROM, this has become bigger than that! We all know each other (I've read all the pages in this thread), we know how people are, and if someone don't respect me, I won't and I think this was clear lots of months ago with one guy, moderator delete it.
People that says 8 months without updating the ROM, I'll tell a few things:
- My PC takes 8 hours to make a simple CM9 build, do you think it is easy for me to solve the issues? Why I'm asking doantions, I'm making this CM7 near without bugs, with a fuc**** PC of 1.5 GB of RAM, CM10.1 can not be built in one step, because building libwebcore saturates RAM, and need to stop to prevent a shut off. Even with this, I brought to you what I can do.
- What did I say at the beginning? I won't update CM9 since CM7 gets stable. Clear enough.
Well after this reading, hope some people can understand, I'll share with you an image that make me happy all the day. Thanks for the discover of @Lopicl.00 who every day is surprising us more: This will be included soon AND YES IS CM7.
