[ROM] [TSP] Xylon 2.7.7 // uXYLON 2.9.5 [Unofficial] [AOSP 4.2.2] 07-25-13

Hello all,

Just an FYI... Those of you who can build 10.2 from source should take a look at the new Focal camera application. I extracted it out of a build I did for the N7 and was plesently suprised to see it installed on this Rom and works perfectly. Those of you who are not able to build could downlod one of the CM10.2 N7 builds and pull it from there. So far it is very cool and adds just a bit more bling to this incredible rom. I am sure the OP is already looking into cherry picking this.

I have always wondered how to pull files or apk from other ROMs.. Hmmmm

Use 7zip, open archive navigate to system app, drag out the app you want. Install from your SD. Done.

Edit: sorry for system app install with root file browser, set permissions reboot.... Then done.

Jamie is correct, usually you need to use a root file browser and add the app to /system/app with permissions of rw-,r--,r--. The Focal app I pulled from my N7 build actually installed like a normal application. This is highly unusual since system apps are usually not signed. The more I play with it the more I like it....plus it is different.

Camera worked fine.
Would not let me choose where to store photos.
FC every time I tried to edit a photo in gallery.

Just realized when you drop the notifications down, at the bottom you can slide left or right to switch from notifications to toggles.

Yeah he had a link the other day as a teaser and should be built in soon. Thanks for the info though.

Just getting this setup but for some reason I can't change wifi, clock, or signal color... I know it's not the rom so it has to be something I did... Running nova prime

Did you try changing the notification color from stock to color?
It only has those two options .
That might help.

Dunno I flashed back to sense because I thought my 3g quit working... Turns out I didn't pay my bill... Lol

Just to spread the information, still having a lot of mobile data issues. About 2-3 times a day the mobile data drops out altho the icon shows it is connected but inactive. Toggling it off and on resolves it. Don't seem to see a pattern.

Yep

. Hard reset and the issue remains. Never had this issue with another ROM.

Try flashing a sense rom and updating prl and profile.
I haven't had any problems with data drops at all.

Tronit first off love the rom. It's the only one that can get me off sense! Second I wanted to flash awesome beats and I was curious about as to what the base for uxylon was? There are a lot of options and it's one of the questions in aroma...

Does anyone know why flashing back to a sense room updating the profile and coming back to AOSP work well with data? And can you flash back to a back up from Sense or does it need to be a clean install
