This is a great work & wonderful so far. . .
I did flash the ROM & kernel. . . Really, this is so great!!!
But it's kinda hard to use that back & menu buttons are not working.
I don't know how, but I feel it kinda laggy.
Looking forward to hearing from you with further work.
Keep it up, bro!!! Really good work!!

Sorry, I didn't notice :p
I experienced somehow laggy, just sometimes.
No menu button is fine to me, but the back one . . . It's kinda hard to use. Maybe I'll try once again when wifi is fixed :victory::victory:

Installed build 3. It's quick and smooth, but my camera and the wifi doesn't work, it's just me or what? (coconut)

Hm, in the first post under the New section (Firefox os all mdpi) ... is that build 4? If it is, I see the changelog then.

 what happened guys?
no news
no developments...
its like this is dead...
this is a really good rom.....
a few more tweaks and its ready for daily use........
come on guys.........
show some enthusiasm and support the development :good:

We need to wait dude ;) ...Right now Firefox OS is not as good as android.(very few apps, not many features etc.).The only thing you need to keep in mind is that when B2G will be BIG then we will make everything to make it work on our devices . Cheers :)

If all hardware will be supported, I think this is a new life for Xperia 2011.
Thanks for devs.

hopefully yes..... with android 5 a.k.a key lime prime rebased their hardware requirement above mdpi ( which really is a darn sh*****e ) firefox will be our future......
just a little more tweaks and the connectivity problems solved...... firefox will be cool.
i tested out and it seems fast and smooth.... but i couldnt live a day without internet..... so for the time its down ...... until the devs get around or through the bug........ hell with....... perhaps i could be a dev as and when i get off my studies

official cm page......

Note: Support Status

This device does not support the newest version of CyanogenMod. This may be due to hardware limitations or simply because development is not yet complete. The last version officially supported was based on the jellybean branch of Android/CyanogenMod.

correct me if im wrong:confused:

there is nothing like hardware limitations it is just the matter of implementation FXP can buildcm 10.1 like mike and shufuking did ..

hope your words are true........ otherwise our mdpi will be stuck at jellybean. but given the average increase in hardware requiement and the decrease in performance with jb on our devices and i really wonder what will happen with key lime pie........ wish they actually reduce the requirement and improve battery life

edit: why are we even discussing this in firefox page?

GREAT JOB danutzgtx480

Really a COOL GREAT WORK :good: man... used it for a day now.. the ROM is fluid smooth..
Here are some bugs I found (May be you have noticed the same too !!??)
1. Battery Life is too less, consumed 65% in less than 10 Hrs of Idle time without data use & in airplane mode
2. Unable to restore .VCF from SD Card, when tried to, its searching & that's it...
3. No File Manager to get to SD Card (Although you say its working, its not detected under settings)
4. Most importantly when we get a notification for New Messages, When tapped on notification, the message gets deleted
5. 24hrs format for date not available

Nevertheless Expecting to get a fully working ROM very soon... Hats off guys.. really a milestone ROM for our MDPI phones ;)

9 december? i think i would have been better of not knowing. any clue as to why wifi isnt working for mdpi?

It's because of the version of B2G...The version for mdpi is compiled from source to fix this bugs:
-Battery indicator
-Notification led
The version for smultron (build 3) is Zip-ported from Keon device and has WIFI working but has the bugs above.

    2
so you can port it to sony lww?
    and a question
as it is now for mini will need some major modification for lww or just a devs touch??

    You need to do that:
-Edit init.rc and add init.b2g.rc in the CM9 kernel
-Add your device dev files (etc, lib, usr folders)
    -Edit updater script
    -Edit build.prop
And you will have Firefox OS on your device ;)
