Same problem..WiFi kept on even I turned it off..

Sent from my ME865 using xda app-developers app

What makes you think wifi is on when you turn it off?
your screenshots dont explain much, other than battery usage from when it was on.

Better screenshot would be of the actual wifi settings screen for proof. Wouldnt help fix the issue tho.

Wifi turns on and off for me just fine.
Have you tried to wipe?

I was wondering if that was the case.
mine does the same thing.

Wifi turned off, seems off in the settings. but battery usage shows its still in use by checking time, exiting, and going back and the time is higher.
I really need to setup adb again.

But your not alone.

I had the same issue. That way I made sure was completely off was to go to setting, battery, hit the wifi, and hit wifi again and turn it off. That solved the issue

I think your getting the issue confused with WiFi turning itself back on automatically or something.
WiFi switch is off and stays like that. Yet the phone is acting like it's still searching. I say acting because visually it's all off, and only in battery info can you see the amount of time it's used still goes up. Going back to WiFi how you state makes no difference it's still off.

Please explain more if I'm wrong.

I don't know of this is the culprit but after flashing and while I was going through my preferred settings I noticed a new WiFi setting. If you go to settings>WiFi, hit the menu key and select the 'advanced' option. You will see a setting labeled:

"Scanning always available

Let Google's location service and other apps scan for networks even when WiFi is off"

This didn't sound like a good idea to me so I automatically turned it off. Maybe that doesn't cause the behavior you've described but I haven't had any issues with WiFi whatsoever so it's worth looking in to.

Brought to you by time and relative dimensions in space.

Well I remember the first time I flash I turn off the wifi and 4 hours later on my battery stats wifi was still being use. Visually wifi was off but battery stats stated it was still on use. And after I did those steps like I mention before I never had that issue again. Hope it helps

Nevermind badwolf is correct. Turning off scanning always available in advance wifi setting solves the issue :)

Have you checked out the translations here?: http://crowdin.net/projects/slimbean
That's one way to contribute them.. Or else, create a github account, fork the necessary repos from SlimRoms, commit your translations, then submit as a pull-request back to Slim. PM me if you need help getting started..

Sent from my MB865 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

I tried there and compared the code, the context in Chinese language file is out of sync, especially files arrays and strings.

that's why i have to use the both files from original resources folder "values" and then redo the translation.

anyway thanks much for your reply and right now i am comparing your new ROM, I hope I could done the translation tomorrow, so our countryman can use your rom fully.

Thank you to extend the life of the A2

by the way, the affected apk will be as ffg:-

Calendar.apk
DashClock.apk
DeskClock.apk
Development.apk
Dialer.apk
Galaxy4.apk
Gallery2.apk

Mms.apk

I'm stuck at the bootanimation for this rom. I'ts been on the animation for well over 5 minutes. I installed BMM, did the whole root explorer stuff, created the caches on 3rd system, wiped data/factory reset, flashed ROM and gapps and rebooted into 3rd system and now I'm stuck on the ROM's animation. Please help.

EDIT: Solved my problem. Feel free to delete this post ( :

The only issue I had with this rom was the lack of Google Play app after installing the recommended gaps package but I sorted that out that by installing the standart 4.3 gaps package. Rotation works, in call dial pad bug of 4.3 roms is fixed, everything is totally stable, no random fc's or anything, battery life is good and everything feels smooth and nice. Excellent job alteredlikeness! :good::victory:

Can someone tell me how to assign the camera button to the camera app? It comes unassigned with SlimBean I guess, at least for me.
