"Problem is caused by a modem. On the first boot with XXEMG4 modem it changes /efs folder/partition into some kind of new format.
If we use old modem with already changed /efs we won't be able to connect to the network and our IMEI will change to unknown, starting from numbers 0079" - by JustArchi

Hey..thanks for answer..i know this happens with emg4 modems. But when i flash v5.2 (4.2.2 rom) and use a earlier modem eg. EMC2 modem...efs restores ok.

Anyone else..come from v5.2...then installed v4.7...tried installing older modem...and cant restore efs backup?.. or is it just me

Installing md3 version and restore my efs backup that i know works with your v5.2 (4.2.2) rom...should work ok.

I then made a fresh efs back up....

full wipe is strongly recomended

XXUFME7 based has no AROMA installer,so I had to remove modem.bin and modify updater-script to make it work,anyway no problems here,reinstalling apps

I think you can check it ar Sammobile. Just search your country and your carrier. Im not sure though

Use the link given by leoniedelt a few pages back.
Flash the s4 weather.
Then the transparent one over that.
Works for me.
