Is anyone else having GPS issues? Mine won't lock onto any satellites.

Had that happen with 9/5 build. Went into location settings unchecked everything, rechecked everything. That fixed it for me.

Which version of gapps is working best for you all? I have a 8/12/2013 on file already but not sure if that's the best to use.
8-12 is 4.2.2. Don't flash. You want 8-13 they are 4.3 I'm running banks core

I also get a little wonkyness, play ingress almost everyday, but I use gps status from the market to download gps data, calibrate accelerometer, and compass. Helps millions, and have helped a lot of fellow gps problematic ingressers.
Flashed like 4hrs ago and everything seems to be gooood. Didn't feel like flashing another rightly, but everytime the change log says minor tweaks, I just can't help it! Lol yes I kno that's every nightly

Suuuuper fast. Only thing of error I have seen since 4.3 rollout is some sort of memory leak it would seem. Anyone else? Never had launcher reload when hitting home after few hrs of usage, and has been happening since 4.3. I just reboot, not a big deal, but only negative thing I've noticed really

Well this is my first AOSP rom in a long time and I'm loving it.. Nice work..
One question though I moved a few movies on my SD card from one folder to another like I always do but when I plug into the computer to copy them off they are still in the old folder and can't do any with them and a movie I erased is showing still only when it's plugged into the computer but when I look tho root explorer everything is where is should be. I do this all the time on TW with no problems is there something I'm missing.. Please help I don't want to go back to TW..

if you go under setting , then carbon fibers, then lockscreen. near the bottom under slider shortcuts you can set them to anything you want
Hi guys. I'm a new Carbon user and I'm on the latest nightly. I've searched extensively for an answer and found nothing but I know this is still gonna end up being a stupid question... how do I get the weather to show up on the lockscreen? I can't find an option anywhere and I see it working in one the screen shots on the first page of this thread.

Anyone tried BMS latest kernel with this ROM? I just did but as soon as I flashed the kernel I lost data. I had to reflash the ROM to go back to stock kernel and data is back as normal.

Normally when I flash BMS kernel and that happens. A simple wipe of caches Reflash rom gapps kernel again and fix permissions usually fixes it.

Both nightly and release builds are available. Please note that nightlies are for development purposes. This means that they may not work properly, may not flash, may not build for days at a time, and will probably eat your cat. We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!

9best thing you guys can do is use an alternative kernel for now. i recommend leankernel.
that said, we're working on another build that should resolve the issues us d2 folks are experiencing. to be honest we usually start working on the next build as the one we're releasing is still building.9
No more of this Linaro crap! If it has some Linaro optimizations what is the big freaking deal?
If you build a Linaro kernel or ROM then YOU say FULL Linaro code/No patches!

Same to you Masaidjet. I am only going to say this once so everyone can see....XDA does not care if a ROM claims to simonize your car while you drive! It is not violating any forum rules. The users decide whether a ROM is good or not or live up to it's claims. The OP states Linaro optimizations...not fully built on Linaro. I left in the post as absurd as it was to make an accusation without even verifying. That is against the respect rule. ROMs are advertised as "flawless"yet users find bugs...should we lock those threads? Can anyone prove there are no Linaro tweaks in this at all? What I am saying is keep this bickering out of the development threads and let users report issues and get the help they need. Go to PMs, gtalk, Google +, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Joe Flacco's mom's bedroom....I don't care. Just keep it out of here. I have seen this in every Linaro titled thread and it ends here!
