Hello, the VRoot Program is from the bbs.mgyun.com forum. This is based on ROMASTER root program used to root MTK Devices. This program can root Qualcomm, TI OMAP Phones and other different chipsets. This will root many Android 2.3.7 phones where they are no exploits working such as the Motorola Defy XT CDMA version.

The VRoot program is not my work! I'm just sharing it on XDA, the thread will be updated when a new version is released.

Even though there is a thread here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2434453

It doesn't state that it can root many Android Phones in the title so users won't bother going to that thread, anyway I have uploaded on XDA because the Chinese servers are very slow :silly:

Download the attachment below.
Unzip the file.

I have uploaded the English version of the program.

After you root it, you can test it by typing these commands in cmd

Code: 
adb shell

Code: 
su

and if it works it will give you a # sign.

This program will install Chinese superuser and Chinese su binary, so you have to update to an English version of Superuser from the market such as Superuser by ChainsDD, SuperSU by Chainfire, Superuser by Koush.

I believe it uses a chipset specific exploit to gain root access.

Micromax A110q Root issue

Hey,
I own a Micromax Canvas Plus A110q recently i flashed with latest firmware "s9086b_mp_f2f3f8_b1_in_mmx_16_flasher_user"
and after that i am unable to root my device can anybody tell me how can i do that it'll be great help.

Can i root my device by this method?
C2004/JB 4.2.2/Kernel 3.4.0/Build 15.2.A.1.12. And do i need to unlock bootloader to move or mount app2sd?
