Can this Rom play 720p videos with H/W OR H/W+ decoder with MX player?
I use the MX Player with H/W encoding and it works, but i dont have videos, that are 720p, so i cant tell, im sorry :)

but im recording a video and trying.

//Edit
ok, recorded my desktop (1366x720), encoded it to 720p, moved it to SD card and played with MX player.

S/W and H/W are working flawlessy, H/W+ crashes
but S/W and H/W are working good enough anyways, so i think you will be satisfied with it :)

3 screenshots attached

//Edit
i noticed the quality is really bad when attaching here
so uploaded the pictures there.
just click on the pictures :)

Thanks for reporting, no post is useless :)

Go for it :)

Sent from my LG-P970 using xda app-developers app

I think it could be very convenient...but depend from any user habits.
Anyway...for me it would be great :D

I thought about it and will do it this way:

i replace the activity with another one.
this activity reads from preferences.

if you set to use the new view, it launches the new view, otherwise or if its not set, it launches the default view.

that way you can decide yourself, which way to use.

is that ok for everyone ?

Yeah..fully customizable but does not upset anything for who do not want it...I think this is the right way!
One the best thing of rhis rom is precisely that there's many and many of new feature (eg. holo, perf. control, active display) but you can use it only if you want!
So..for me it's ok..:good:

thats what i try to reach, a system, which is capable of a lot, without beeing forced to use these features.

only exception is Performance Control.
it replaces the Performance Menu.

Revamping Settings more and more.
Cleaned up a lot and changed the ROM EXTRA menu to use tabs.
also changed category color, for better visibility when a new category starts.
to match all a bit, im using the colors of Performance Control

screenshots attached :)

bootloop for me

going back to IZS2

////// additional info //////
I installed cm-p970-Velox-Nameless-1.0.4_Beta_4.zip
I did a clear of cache, data, dalvik, ... (all possible)
The phone boots, then I see the cyanogen screen (with the circle), then back to the LG screen and automatic return in recovery.
CWM recovery is 5.0.2.6 used
My bootloader is v30c (because I come from IZS2). Is it the reason of the bootloop?

I can open it with no problem.

would you tell me the md5, so i can check.
Sorry, dont have it, as i already have newer packages here because i test the new changes.

one thing, maybe it didnt copy it to the sdcard properly.
delete it, copy it again and after it finished, wait 1 minute and then disconnect.

happened to me a couple of times, that i was to impatient and disconnected asap it was finished, which caused these (bad) errors.

like stated in the first post, you may need to choose reboot system now in recovery if it reboots into recovery or pull the battery.

not all phones can handle it yet, but i want it to work on every phone in 1.0.4
these beta's are here to let interested people try them and of course for testers to test it :)

but thank you for the report, investigating more.

Doesn't work at all.

Even Redownload didn't help.

When will you release the next package?

sorry to say but i just downloaded it and flashed it and it works, and others report that the flash works as well, so it seems to be an issue at your side.

whatever, i could push beta 5 this evening, if i am done with all changes i have planned :)

Hello,
Thanks for replying.

Here is the md5 I have
e40ab67ae0c31f0a2506af123bb3d6c3 cm-p970-Velox-Nameless-1.0.4_Beta_4.zip

I did "reboot system now in recovery " and I also pull the battery but that did not help.

I will try the beta5 when available.

By the way, is there a bootloader and a baseband preferred for this ROM?
My bootloader is V30C
My baseband is 1035.23_20110407

Best Regards
Philippe

    ATTENTION!

    Kitkat builds have moved!

    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2556875

    DO NOT FLASH WITHOUT A NANDROID BACKUP!

    the upgrade to 4.4 upgrades databases as well and if you want to go back, you have to wipe your data.
    so please take a backup before you flash this.

    The last official Velox Build for kitkat is here.
    cm-p970-Velox-1.0.6.2-experimental-20131115.zip - 169.49 MB

    Also this is VERY EXPERIMENTAL, proceed on your own risk!

    Here you will find ROM Extras.

    i think its cleaner than attaching them to the main thread.

    ClockWorkMod

    Here are copies of new CWM :)
    You can install them with the built-in recovery flasher in the Performance Menu at the Tools tab.

    Note about Swipe Recoveries:
    it works flawlessy, only the "swipe" feature is a bit buggy.
    up and down works, left and right only sometimes.
    just use the powerbutton instead, like always :)

    // Edit
    Doing a clean build, takes some time again.

    // Edit 2
    Ok, HW audio encoding / decoding still doesnt work.
    EGL seems to be stable, but needs more and extensive testing though.

    ill wait for some source pushes by cyanogenmod, also reading through the gerrits on this world and picking good looking stuff :p

    // Edit 3
    its somehow funny, everytime i look at the left on my thanks meter, it goes up, but i dont see any posts of mine, which have more thanks than before.
