Hi folks, I'm trying this alpha from three days and now I can try to give a feedback:
- build 20131106-033956
- kernel default, with default settings minus Read ahead buffer (128), Governor (interactivx) and WiFi High Perf (ON)
- for now I have no reboots
* Battery doen's seems bad, in the night, airplane mode, in 7 hours it drains max 5%, I'm in hotel and use the phone as alarm.
* Mobile networks give me no problems, I update all via mobile network (Wind in Italy) and also WiFi is ok.
* I use dolphin as default browser, last release (1.290.587) and I don't have bigs problems in browsing internet.
* I'm using Hangout for SMS, it's a little slower then messages, but it's works quite well.
* I restored data for user apps with Titanium, lighter apps directly instaleld via Play Store.
Experience was near to daily basis like it was with Slim Stable 2, except for:
- graphic glitches on some apps due to Html viewer, GMail, settings and some other, but rotating phone it come to normal almost ever (known bug)
- dialer stay opened after close a calls (bug?)
- Bluetooth headphones sometimes don't connect to phone (same problem with Stable2 but it seems a little worste after three days, but I'm not sure)
- some settings don't open from notification bar, but only from Setting panel (Privacy Guard for example) but also these is already written
- some minus problems with apps, probably not updated for 4.4, so I don't care about them for now
I'm using from three days, as said, with no huge problems, so I could say it's another great job from our developer, it can only go better!
And it's only an alpha release (in other release I remember a lot of flashing activity with less stability...
)
