I havent added anything that has to do with xposed framework or any xposed apps and I really don't think I will be adding it into Darthstalker. What I have seen is that it seems to break some things for users when they apply mods on it and it seem to also break some of my mods. Most likely that is why i never added that stuff on any of my roms on any device.

Also I know that I have told you all that I will be releasing an update on Sunday (Today), but right now there is still a couple of things I'm trying to add for the next update that is going to take a couple of more days for me to do that will be well worth it. So Version 5 will be postponed until I'm done with what I have to do.

Hey just wanted to point it out. I got the n900t and flashed this since it was first rom, I started flashing other roms, wen through the WHOLE list and none of them added up to how stable darthstalker is. I figured it was worth saying since I basically tested(very thoroughly, mind you) every rom known for the note 3 tmo series up to date and eventually came back to darthstalker as my rom of choice. Donations are definitly on there way to this sharp-minded developer. 3 thumbs up!

Very good point. People should understand that xposed was designed for use with rooted stock roms and not for custom roms. It aims to add some of the features that custom roms include without modifying the rom itself. It will almost always conflict with or break features already in place within a custom Rom and in some cases even cause booting issues. Best to stay away unless you have a very specific need that you know won't interfere with your custom roms built in tweaks.

the main thing I get from Xposed is the 'long press on volume to skip music tracks'...if you could add that bit into Darthstalker, I'd kiss Xposed goodbye and never look back.

:)

camera issues?

idk if this was asked ..but im on V4 and was at a sporting event and cpl iPhone users wanted to compare Video Record playback of the game and the "camcorder" wasn't working. How embarrassing.. :(

What camera were you using. Super camera has known issues.

That said, all cameras work fine for me. Is it just video you have problems with? Pictures work?

Play Store

I am having issues with play store.

I dropped density to 460, wondering if that has anything to do with it.

Anyone having issues with Google Play?

EDIT:

I changed it back to 480, problem solved.

The density shouldn't affect it if your using the app included in the Rom . Because my density is at 180 and play store is fine .

That does not make any sense that you are on 180, you would need a magnifying glass.

Actually no I don't I always have my phone at low densities all my notes and even smaller phones . But it's better on the notes because it's a huge screen why have that ruined by oversized anything. The lowest I've had is 120. The trick is keep the density low so more stuff fits on screen but keep font at normal or large to make it readable . And further more I was just trying to help. By stating 480- 460 isn't a big jump. That may have fixed issue but there was something else you did wrong .

I did not think about enlarging the font, good advice.

Well of you used the density changer app it would work fine no matter what density . The play store can be iffy when it comes to density sometimes is just clear cache Dalvik fix permissions and that it . It's all trial and error . But happy you got it set to what you want .

So to the dev I just want to say thanks for a nearly perfect Rom. Unfortunately the one and only thing I have to negatively say about this is the choice in default font.

Sure, I know many of you will simply point out the obvious fact that I can easily go into settings and change the font to my liking. But I shouldn't have to. I understand that devs need to do incorporate certain things to differentiate their Rom's from the rest of the pack, but sticking to the default Android font should be SOP. Then if someone wants to change it from stock they can.

This one small overlooked change is what made me flash a different Rom.

Nice work on the Rom though.

You should edit your post, it's making you look bad.

If you look through the Aroma installer properly you would see he gave us an option to use the stock fonts... The mistake was on your behalf...

Try to run the installer again, then let us know if you still have problems

    * First Thing To Do... Do A Nandroid Backup!

    * Place The Rom Into Your SD Card Or Internal Storage.
    * Now Reboot Into CWM Recovery.
    * While In CWM Recovery, Wipe "Data/Factory Reset".
    * Next "Wipe Cache Partition".
    * Go Into "Advanced" And Then "Wipe Dalvik Cache".
    * Go Into "Mounts And Storage" And Then "Format/System".
    * Install Rom To Go Into The Rom's Aroma Installer.
    * Choose The "Full Wipe" Method.
    * Choose Any Of The Apps You Want.
    * Now Install The Rom Until Its Finished.
    * The Aroma Installer Will Then Reboot Your Device.

    Sorry for the wait guys. I see that a lot of people are anxious to get Darthstalker V7, but right now I'm still not done. Whenever I finish something I end up adding even more things for the update. This is stuff I do alone and having to update the rom, kernel, and also doing some theming work takes a lot of time. I'm really doing triple the work here to make everything as perfect as it can be! A whole lot of work has been done already and so far V7 is going to be one of the best damn updates by far!
