It is not SS or BMM problem.
Media process scans all your folders to find all mp3, jpg and etc...
The big problem is huge hierarhy (many folders inside other folders).
After new install the data of process is blank, so process starts searching.
You need to wait some time for scanning. After it will not spend so much time.

Do you have a lot of mp3 on ext SD-card?

- SuperUser security fixes
- Several BT fixes
- Selinux security ehancements
- LID controll fix
- some translation upstrem
- nearly all device got device and kernel updates

Is your SlimBean 2.2 for razr includes it?
Do you plan to update 4.3.1?

I have not seen any updates to the jb4.3 branch source since I last built. This is the Final Release 2.2 version, all of those updates listed should be included.

And, I might update the 4.3.1 builds someday if I find a compelling enough reason..

Reaching out to all the savvy ppl. I'm currently using this ROM on my XT912. I'll be traveling to Mexico do any of you know if my phone will work?

Heya,

thanks for the great rom! I have one glitch though: I can't update Gmail from the Play Store - tried it with the selectable and minimal gapps as well, both come back with an error saying "problem with signature".

Any ideas?

I'm using 8sms (Stock Messaging, KitKat) instead of the stock messaging app. I haven't had any issues lately but I would suggest checking your APN's sometimes those change after a reboot.

Haha no worries, first you have to apply Mentor's patch which you can download here: http://www.internauta37.altervista.org/how-and-patch-fully-enable-gsm-verizon-cdma-phones-android then you have to manually add the APN's. :)

Continuing problem

sometimes my sd card just does not get recognised on this Rom. Something like, when I boot my phone I can access it but then when open the camera app after sometime it gives the "no external card found" error. 2 or 3 reboots later the Rom can recognise/read the card again. How do I fix it? ?

I see the list of apns but not sure what im looking for. Im on VZ.

I us VZN in Texas. Check here: Settings > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > Set the MMSC value for the Access Points that you are using which most probably are:
EHRPD – Verizon Internet
LTE- Verizon Internet
Either of those should have http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms as the MMSC value.

I have one labeled EHRPD-verizon cbs and one labeled LTE-verizon cbs both with that address under MMSC. There are 5 EHRPD and 5 LTE apns

3G not working? no APN

Hi.
I recently flashed this rom on my xt910 and I cannot seem to get any 3G connection. I looked in the APN and there is none saved.
Is anyone having this issue? any fix?

    New SlimKat pre-alpha test builds uploaded for spyder and umts_spyder. (All of my 4.4 test builds will be uploaded here)
    Grab the proper 4.4 Gapps, install on a non-main system with BMM or SS, and let me know how it goes...
