Did you even read above? CM will not work with this or any other kernel unless it's written for CM.

I know this isn't the OmniROM support thread, but unfortunately I may be stuck with CM for a while. Because after trying OmniROM, it wouldn't let me sign into Hangouts or Google Plus. I just want stuff to work for now. As much as I want to switch to something better in the long run, OmniROM is still broken for me. Yeah CM is broken but not like that. I cannot even start Hangouts or G+ without critical errors. And if this'd work my issues would be gone. ? I'm so sorry for seeming demanding, but if it's possible I'd love to use this on CM until Omni is better and works for me. I hope these glitches are sorted out soon, or I'll get on IRC.

Lol nice one troll, I was able to fix by fixing permissions in TWRP at least I was able to troubleshoot and report back a fix instead of trolling

Realize that when you ask a question that's been answered so many times it's considered common knowledge, you're essentially setting out the troll welcome mat with a trail of troll cookies leading right to your door. Next time might I kindly suggest a quick search either on XDA or Google to see if your issue has already been addressed.

Do you guys know if it's detrimental to use Franco with linaro build roms? Just asking, no need to get all over protective on Franco....

Yeah I'm aware of that. Just wondering if flashing Franco on an linaro compiled rom is counterproductive. Franco isn't build with linaro optimizations, right?

I don't believe it is. It shouldn't hurt the speed of a linaro room if anything I would think it would make it faster. This kernel is a beast

All I've ever run rom-wise on this device is either the stock image, or Flonaro (Linaro optimized stock). I just haven't found the trade-off worth it for other roms, and I used to be a crack flasher. But anyway, I've been running this kernel with Flonaro for quite some time and had no issues, and it certainly seems to perform better. Battery life is a definite improvement with this kernel, as always. Linaro optimizations certainly haven't changed that.

Is this kernel overclocked by default to 1.7, How would this conserve battery when gaming
Thought kernel was good to go but must be tweaked?
Which app are you guys using

Edit:; i see it doesnt always use 1.7 ghz when gaming heavy online gfx so never mind,

Using trickster mod, is this recomeneded?
Thanks and happy holidays

    Hi all.

    Compatibility:
It should work on any rom by following this logic:

    Disclaimer to moderators:
Slight OT is fine, but when users decide to act stupid they should be dealt with with the appropriate means - its really annoying for me when OT turns crazy. Please put the warning/ban hammer anytime any of you think there's lack of respect and/or too much unwanted OT crap - but if it doesn't meet this criteria let the OT posts alone. Thank you.

    Cheers!

    Pushed r10:

    * Merged interactive patches from my N5 work
    * Tweak the governor tunables for a better battery : performance ratio
    * Added clocks up to 1,7GHz and made it the new default max frequency since this chip its mostly a Snapdragon 600 (which boots at 1,7GHz)
    * Improvements to my hotplug driver
    * Merged patches from upstream to improve the kthread management per cpu

Still not compatible with deb - as I said before I don't have the device and without someone to help me out (email me) there's not much I can do.

    Enjoy!

    r4
    * Merge KEXEC patches to work with MultiRom from Tassadar
    * Merge all the work on the Hotplug driver from Mako
    * Merge all the work on the GPU governor from Mako
    * Merge my latest touch boost implementation directly from Mako
    * Disable AVS to allow for true undervolting (with AVS enabled it would regulate the voltages back to its default values internally)
    * Enable Module support for TouchControl
    * Should work fine with the latest PAC and Carbon rom nightlies
    * Other misc changes available on github repo

I was hoping for 4.4 to hit earlier, so I was holding off this release, but I'm glad I did because I could merge my latest codes from Mako. Hope you like it!

I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas, lots of food, kisses, hugs, and quality time.

Thanks for being present the first 6 months of life of this device. More is coming and I hope you can stick to the ride with me ;)
