Hey, cool... man... I am here to support you without any interest. I am not saying that you are making fool but you are first who is saying this problem. :cowboy: anyway just install this flashtool software http://www.flashtool.net/sshot1.php in your pc and click on "Power Icon" and select the "Fastboot Mode" and then click on "Select kernel to hotboot" and choose the recovery.img and done... Note this is for sony devices but you can flash img files on lg device too..

PS: Respect people here, you will be not charged.... its open and free XDA portal ;)

By the way i was not going to disrispect anyone, instead i was trying to make sure anyone didn't mislead my good intentions!
Sorry for misunderstanding, maybe some translation problem started everything ;)


-edit: seems that i spoke too early, hotboot works, i see the new version of cwm, but unable to use any key or move into the menu, only button working is power button, it reboots the recovery!

hmmmm.... seems your device recovery partition size is less than 5mb. Strange for me... IMHO all p500 devices have 5mb recovery and 5mb boot patitions.
go to adb and check your recovery partition size and let me know. But if it is less than 5mb you cannot flash this.

Can't receive file by Bluetooth share

Bluetooth can't receive file, download process show 0% in few minutes then disappeared!

Everything works fine, but i can't install Gallery and few other apps from User-SystemApps like WallpaperCropper or WhisperPush (now using Quickpic instead).
Successfully installed latest sweetnsour and even with 3G turned on i have minimum drain!

I think is a script problem, not a rom one...

If someone can upload me the link2sd init.d script I can try to see what's wrong with int2ext script.
int2ext stop working since 4.2, but I really never look into what could have made those script not working anymore...

Hey i wanna try version-3 too.im using version 2 right now.but i dont wanna partition my sd card again and i dont wanna lose my linked apps again.its a long process you know.flashing the rom then backing up SD card to pc and partitioning and then restoring files again.and then installing and linking apps all over again. And setting up the rom.
Isnt there a way which i can just flash the rom with my apps not getting deleted?
Im afraid that my sd card will degrade if i keep partitioning.also I'm scared that my p500 will die

Hey... You don't need to create partition again and again... Just flash rom and install Link2sd and create mount script EXT4. Reboot and it will detect previous partition automatically.. :highfive:

What i do to upgrade ver 3 from ver 1:
1) Download ROM :)
2) Go to recovery
3) Upgrade the rom without rebooting
4) Clean the cache
5) Reboot
6) Open link2sd and recreate the mount script
7) Reboot
8) Et voilà

If you need help i'm here :)

I think the first step (maybe I'm just stating the obvious, but anyway) should be: 1) make nandroid backup then follow the rest.

Then, I don't see any reason why wiping dalvik *after* the rom has been flashed.

But, I think the instruction in OP do not cover clearly enough what is needed when upgrading from previous version of this rom, so I also was confused as what to actually do when upgrading from ver1 to the latest version.

    Installation

    - First time flashing CM11 to your LG-P500 (or coming from another ROM)?

    • Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.4.6 or above (Get it here)
    • Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (Power+Vol dwn+home)
    • Do a Nandroid backup!
    • DON'T WIPE ANYTHING (data/factory reset + wipe cache partition+wipe dalvik+ format system)
    • Download and flash the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery 6.4.0.6
    • Simply flash in recovery through sdcard or adb sideload,
    • Follow the Aroma Menu. Finish
    • Reboot Device
    - Upgrading from another CM10.2 or Older ROM

    • Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (Power+Vol dwn+home)
    • Do a Nandroid backup!
    • DON'T WIPE ANYTHING (data/factory reset + wipe cache partition+wipe dalvik+ format system)

    - Increase Device Storage size for more apps (optional)
    • Install Link2SD app (Link Here)and create "SDEXT4" mount script (dont reboot here), change settings to autolink apps and then reboot device into Recovery (click to see how to create SDEXT4)
    • Successful boot, now install as many apps as you want
    SEX Must read this:
    Some people are really lazy to read and they ask the same question without reading this part. So just put something catchy to attract their attention here;)
    1. DON'T SELECT WIPE CACHE AND DATA IN OTA after download of ROM or any updater patch.
    1. You have to insert an active Sim into device or run into Airplane Mode otherwise the ROM will be laggy.
    2. In Version 9, if you are choosing "AD2Sdx" Script then please have some patient on first boot as it will take 20-25 minutes. This script will flash the all apps in data storage first and then move to external storage (SDEXT) but after first boot everything will be normal. Also note this script mean for Class 10 sdcards. Although I have put some tweak to increase the reading speed of below class 10 sdcards but still writing speed will be slow. So those using 2gb or below class 10, will face a little slow this rom with Ad2sdx.
    3. To use version 8, you must have to select one apps from "Music" and "Enhancement" section.

    Hint: 1. Must select Dalvik2Cache to increase internal data space and fast up the ROM
    2. After first boot, fix the wallpaper by long press on home screen> wallpaper> select wallpaper. Done

    PS: After downloading the ROM through OTA, it will show option to wipe Cache and Data. Just deselect the both option and then it will automatically reboot into recovery, open the Aroma Installer, follow the process and DONE!!!

    Now it is not mandatory to select apps from each category in Aroma. Also note that this ROM have inbuilt Link2SD and AD2Sdx mount script for SD-EXT, which makes first boot more longer than usual as its flashes all apps first and then move to script. So please have some patient on first boot.

    This ROM is super trimmed and already have included GAppsLight, no need to flash separately.

    Installation Process:
    Upgrading from previous version: In Aroma Menu, Select Wipe Option 1 to upgrade the version. Must select the same previous running SD-EXT script and Avoid those apps, which you have already installed in previous version. Finish and Reboot device. Done!!!
