at the moment, the 3.1 kernel is only compatible to ROMs that provide support for bcmdhd-wifi driver, which are not many - tonyp's latest TheROM 10.2 and latest CM11 mainly.
thats why it is not working with any older ROM.
Support for old wifi-driver roms will be added after it is stable, like pengus told some pages ago.
Hi Pegasus77 and all O2x users!
When can we except HDMI control in Settings? Some cheap tablets have the possibiliti of adjusting resolution (HD, FHD...) on TV. Now o2x have any option for HDMI in setings, but I remember that o2x have some adjustments in Gingerbread.
Thanks

My battery life instead get worse with the new battery driver..
I've been trying to evaluate battery drain, but I've had too much geographical movement, and high usage of the phone (speccially GPS). But anyway, looking at my Better Battery Stats and GSam battery Monitor info, I've noticed important battery drain from Wi-fi... wich I've never had turned on. Si it possible that Wi-fi keeps runninng, after I switcch it off?
I'm on Tonyp's CM11, latest build. I've been testing that with Kowalski Manager's Wifi setting on and off (every combinnation), rebooting, with 2g, 3g, without data, etc...
Again, sorry if I missed something, but I don't remember anyone else reported this (just one post with something similar, which çI couldn't find). I'll keep looking into a26 for testing reported bugs, and reporting what I discover.
Manuel.
absolutely no drain issues on my phone, have a stable 1,3%/hour drain now since 8am - phone sleeping most of the time on my desk, connected to wifi and it is 4pm here now
can you check network locations, if they are off or on?
su
iwconfig wlan0
su
iwconfig wlan0 txpower XX (where XX is the value in dBm)
