INSTALLATION

* Flash stock ICS FTF (if you have it no need to to this)
* fastboot JB kernel LuPuS_urushi_jBv9-ram RECOMMENDED
* Factory reset / cache / system
* Flash the rom from sd card.reboot.
* flash the GAPPS mini and reboot.


Downloads :

ROM:SLIMBEAN 5.1.1 RAY
GAPPS:GAPPS MINI JB
use a image and video app from your choice,i didnt included cause users have their favourite..i use quickpic and mxvideo player.

I've flashed Lupus 720p kernel, but I don't see 720p in the default camera app, please suggest.​

open camera,go to settings and choose 1280x720p..but that is just a waste of memory..we dont have camera libs to have 720p..its a placebo effect..fps on recording are the same than 480p kernel..so you lose 30 mb free ram..for nothing.:good:

Thanks for this great to rom. I am very impressed. I was concentrated on my other phones and long time flashed my xperia.
This rom is clean, stable and has much potential.

I'm happy to see Slim rom for Ray. My girlfriend got this phone recently, so I would like to ask for users, which way to root this phone is safest? Don't want any accidents :) Thanks for answer in advance :)

well it depends surely on kernel..rom is clean but you can try this settings on cpu:

1209max 249min intellidemand /smartass v2 on SIO/NOOP. let the rom settle for a day at least and make a full charge..then see if the battery performs better.;)

you must have unlocked bootloader first..and if you have you flash a custom kernel wich already prerooted...;)
