I've also got a problem with apparently not having any internal memory space available to download anything - but this is a desperate issue!!!

Hi, Still you didn't mentioned which file you downloaded. As the latest file does no have sync issue but yes Microphone not working.
I am near to fix this as well. Few more minutes if lucky

I dont want to give you guys bad stuff. So better lets play with some Stable version instead of running behind 4.5.16 Release.
I was able to make Success attempt for MIU V5 4.4.25 with Multilanguage.

I already mentioned SNote n pen will not work. Please wait for the fix.
For Gps you need to flash Gapps for 4.1.1.

Just installed 4.4.25 and found an issue with permission. Even though I have root access, I am not able to mount the System folder as "R/W".
As a result, I cannot convert certain apps to system app.
Apart from that, all seems ok. Thanks very much for your hard work.

Dont flash the root in Aroma installer. Just let the flashing go without it and give try. As the first thing i always do on very first boot that enable the root by Security >> Permission >> Root Access >> Turn On.

I do get root with this ROM. The problem is I cannot convert apps to system app.
Using root explorer, try moving an app to the "System\app" folder. You should notice that it will not work.
No such problem with the 4.2.28 build.

I just did a full wipe and reflashed the ROM. It seems to work now so not sure what happen before.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Wipe data, cache, and dalvik
2. Install Rom zip file
3. Install gapps
4. Flash modem (if needed)
5. Flash kernel (if needed)
6. Boot into rom. You will likely have working 3g and not 4g. Setup the rom all the way through until you get to the homescreen.
7. Enable root using the permissions app in the security folder.
8. Add APN details ( Only if no Data connection you see even after turning ON 3G, else skip this part)
9. Download Terminal Emulator from play store ( only if Data connection messed up or not available, else skip this part)
10. Type "su" without qoutes. Hit enter. ( only if Data connection messed up or not available, else skip this part)
11. Type "fixdata.sh" without the quotes.The device will reboot.

A few force closes when you boot up but after that very smooth.
NOTE: If your Network Data is not working, just run "fixdata.sh" from terminal again
*Not sure if this applies to everyone(need further feedbacks), because I had to go set up the Singtel APN and save it..

KNOWN ISSUES AS OF NOW
1. Phone.apk crashes a few times at bootup (turn off show force closes if you don't want to see it)
2. Downloaded Themes might lead theme manager to crash
3. Torch needs a fix
4. 3G/1X always shows no signal regardless of actual strength
5. Stock theme causes Phone.apk to crash when making a call ---- switch to a different theme and reboot to fix

TAKE BACKUP FIRST
Just freeze FlashBarService.apk in /system/app. Titanium Backup can freeze apps, but it requires root. Don't forget to reboot the phone after freezing it.

TRICK FOR SNOTE/SPEN:
This is the stable version of 4.6.13, no more phone fc. Remember if you want your SNOTE/SPEN module to work perfectly. PLEASE choose GT-N7100 device in the AROMA device list while flashing. This is the trick to handle the appropriate libraries. This selection does not impact on phone functionality but you will have SNOTE working.
So our final concern is LTE/4G now. Slowly I will fix this up.
