Maybe in the near future someone will produce a video about this Rom, that would be nice. Just a thought.

Sorry I gotta say this....

Posts like... "I'm waiting for next version as I had fc over and over" are utterly pointless. Obviously this did not happen during development or it would not have been released. So you obviously have found some combination that causes issue. How you expect that to be fixed by next build or indeed any after that if you don't supply any log or whatever and run back to your backup is beyond me.

Posts like "too complicated blah blah" are also pointless. There is a guide in the OP. If you don't want to mess with stuff then use the preset theme and don't touch anything. Or stick with the provided presets in Alliance Manager. If that gives you issue then refer to first part of this post.

Sorry but you gotta help us to help you!

^^ this. And to add to this, the home screen wake that has been asked 50 or so times has been answered. Also the directions to flash this ROM are exactly the same as for any other ROM, wipe then flash to stock slot. If you have issues on NC4 then use NC2 by downgrading. NC4 being SELinux enforcing is not going to help. And please take the time to try out what all alliance has to offer, and most importantly, have fun :)

For me many roms including Baja was perfected from such discussion. Even before downloading Alliance I knew it was not going to be perfect. I know that the next build will not magically fix all problems and I agree that if you get a FC try to provide as much info as possible. I guess some feedback is getting interpreted as criticism. For me that was not my intended purpose.
I also agree that some people can be a$$holes especially when you guys put tons of work and dedication into a Rom during your free time. It's just that sometimes when you come from one Rom (Baja) to a new Rom (Alliance) things don't look or function the same. For me I dislike the S5 style switches by default but some people like them. To me that's not a problem but more of an observation and I can understand that a majority of users want the S5 style switches. Sometimes it's easier to say "complicated" instead of using the term "learning curve". Many of us just have rewire our thought process. The name didn't change for nothing.

So just wondering. Is there a way to make it so I don't have to hit the menu button on home screen just to move apps around?

This is high on the list of things that need to get done before build 2. For some reason when adding Samsung theme support this occurs in the docked icons. I can't stand it either.

I can assure you we will work on getting this out of the rom

Thanks. I do apologize if it was already mentioned. I just didn't see it in the thread. Best Rom I've tried in a long time.

SSSOOORRYYY

I'm not blaming the devs. I am at a loss as to why those issues are happening. Been flashing ROMs since my D-Inc. I'm no Developer, but I certainly know the process of wiping flashing a new ROM.

I've tried letting apps install clean from the Play Store. Just in case my Titanium Backups were the issue.
Tried NOT updating SuperSu...

I'm honestly at a loss. Never experienced this before. So forgive me, I've commented a few times. I'm sure your partly directing this comment at me.

Thought I'd share my experience, and it might help. Tried to not come off winey... Guess I did. My apologies.

Quick question...

1. Is there anyway to reduce the size of the text in the notification area it's so very very large.

2. I changed my font now everything is in Chinese? Suggestions?

3. If you open stock browser and get a notification you can't read it because the notification bar is transparent can I make it solid black? How so?

Thanks guys for keeping this device alive

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've applied the "txr33cyan.zip" theme with the "Ice Blue Dialer" and I get black text on dark back ground in my contacts.

I don't mind the back ground, I would just like to change the text color....

Any help is greatly appreciated..... Thanks!
