[Icons, Themed Apps, & More] Eclipse Themes

I have noticed however, that after applying the icons, one or two apps in the drawer, have not fully themed correctly. A couple of examples are BBC iplayer and google maps. They have the blue circle around them as they should, however the actual picture or writing within that is still the standard icon. I can see that you have themed those icons in your list on the app.

Would you possibly know why a couple of the apps have done this?

For info im on HTC One M8, CM11 Snapshot M9 ROM. Ive noticed a few comments around the forums that the theme engine still has a few issues, could it just be a CM problem?

Ive got a few icon packs and themes installed, but before changing i revert to Holo system default, restart and then apply the new theme or icon set. Im not sure what else to try.

Any help would be appreciated as id love to sort this and get my OCD sorted haha!

Unfortunately, I already need to update some activities for my icons, but I've been busy with other projects. That may be the issue with the BBC app, but maps should work using a launcher like Nova or apex. I tested to see what happened when I applied default icons in Nova and then applied the icons via theme chooser... maps did not work then. I'm not exactly sure why it doesn't work properly that way [emoji53]

Im not using any 3rd party launcher with the icons, i just use the CM theme chooser (long press home screen, select themes, then go to icons and choose holo eclipse.)

Interesting that maps didnt work for you either using that. I guess we will have to put this down to maybe a bug or two with current CM11???

It is only a work in progress snapshot ROM anyway.

ive managed to get a screenshot attached just to show what I mean (obviously ignore the apps i have which wont be themed but you can see the BBC and maps issue)

Sorry to tease and not release anything, but due to some negative feedback I'm starting to second guess myself. It's done and could be released, but idk what direction I wanna take it right now. Left or right?

The left one is easier to read, and looks amazing. Just my personal opinion. Ecstasy?

Hmm... so what do y'all think about all images (including status bar/nav bar) being like the right pic, and all text being like left? I'm on a secret mission with DJ, can't explain til we're done. It's very promising though, I'll be back [emoji41]

FYI, I'm making official release on Saturday. I am probably making everything true blue again (that 'dark blue'). Tired of messing with it, and wanna move on to a different color... Not to mention YouTube

I think it would look great. The only thing i see that doesn't fit is the settings icon in the right picture is not themed.

I compromised... Instead of making all of the text colors blue, I made some of them (like secondary text) that lighter blue. It still has to live up to the name though [emoji14]

There will be both a lite and full version similar to how DJ does things. Since it's the afternoon before I release, who wants to play a little game? [emoji56]

Last edit I swear lol... Forgot to mention that it will only be open till I release and update my post reserved for CM themes. Might wanna keep it in a safe place, bc this special lite edition has a few things that the official lite will not include. Full version of course has even more
