When I charge my phone until it's full I pull it off the charger and it will go from 100% to around 85% within 10 minutes. The battery then discharges at a reasonable rate until it gets to 25%, but it will drop from 25% to < 5% within 10 minutes and die. Between 85% and 25% my battery is fine, but from 100% - 85% and 25% - 0% the battery drops extremely rapidly.
Does this mean my battery's calibration is off? I've had this phone for a year and i'm running ViperOne 6.2.1 with the stock ViperOne kernel. How can I go about fixing this?
no such thing... how long has it been since you did a fresh FULL wipe + reinstall? full meaning transfer everything of internal sd and wipe it too... also are you on a newer firmware than the rom?

Don't think anything is really kanged, seems like there's a lot of personal work he puts into it.

j to the 4n said within 10 days on the 20th. So at most we have 6 more days, but it could possibly be sooner. Worst case is it gets delayed a week or so, but I'd much rather wait a week for an awesome release than hear people ***** about this and that not working correctly. The devs have been doing a great job and it's time we realize that the M8 is the new focus. It comes first. I'm just thankful M7 support is continuing.
When your phone shows 100% switch off the charging and switch it on again.. It will show you the actual battery and keep doing that till it reaches 100%..
Its a known bug of HTC
I think my previous post got buried in the thread, so...
@Jan @Turge @hansbert
Is it possible to include an option for "audio panning"? Meaning, summing the left and right channels to mono on both channels. I think this would be a great feature for people with hearing problems in one ear. Can you imagine listening to Beatles' Sargent Peppers with one ear only??
Anyway, it's also be nice por people who wanna use only one earbud when using headphones.
I know iPhones ans Samsung devices heave this option in the Accessibility option, but of some reason (maybe the boomsound speakers), HTC has disable it. Please, Team Venom, include this in your awesome ROM if you can!

If you have the stweaks app, you can go to the audio tab, and click the box to "force mono downmix" and then move the slider for "headphone left/right channel volume" slider to 0 for the side you want silent.

sounds like a good idea. But I doubt it will be an easy task since we don't own the source code of HTC..and sound mods are pretty complex.
Think you should better make a feature request at HTC.
Thanks for your response, Jan! Alas, this app was apparently designed for the s2, and after installed it just says "no kernel support".Check out that app:

Found it with some googeling. From that guys instructions, it should work when you do the following;

I'll continue trying 3rd party apps to see if any provide a good result. I didn't know it was such a complex thing to do. given that there is so little documented about it, I'll try asking htc for this feature
Thanks again man!
