One last question before I get a warning for spamming.... Can I use slum gapps instead of OP apps?

I'm going to just do it lol.

I looked there but did not see the disable option. I will look again. I saw where others have asked the same question.

When updating dirty instead of a clean install Google search loses it's black background... Despite clearing cache redoing theme (Cobalt blue) every other item except search remains black. Yes, a minor annoying nit is there a way to fix this? I always use latest slim gapps...

It's behaving nicely now, with stock kernel.

If only it didn't heat up so much when playing games, not sure if this is just that the stock kernel settings are to aggressive. Didn't want to have to use another kernel but it may be the solution.


To the devs, aside from the heat, this rom is incredible, thanks for your hard work.

    Awesome rom! Latest update (3.2) is sweet. The boot up animation is the most creative I've seen. Totally cool. The only thing missing from this rom is the Chromecast mirror. @alexdr1 provided the link. I am willing to donate $20.00 for your time and effort to add this awesome feature. MhL/hdmi out is the only feature I miss from sammy. chromecast mirroring is a better solution.

    Here's the info:
    "Check /system/lib/hw directory for the file "audio.r_submix.default.so".
    If it doesn't exist, ask your device maintainer to add audio.r_submix.default to
    the product_packages in the device.mk file. (You may not know what it means, but they will). The thread indicates it works with the GN@
