Actually 20140920 is the best nightly for me.
Don't change kernel, based works fine

Doesn't have the custom Rom already a kernel within it?
I mean, if I flash it, my kernel will change won't it?

I'm using Dorimanx Test Builds, it works fine and the kernel is more advanced.

I state that I did some research but could not found I was looking. So... sorry if this post is not appropriate in this section [emoji28]

I want to do format system and format sdcard0 to do a deep clean. I have already made a nandroid backup in external sd card where there is also PacRom's zip file.

Someone can tell me if I can do damage? Any advice?

No you won't damage the device

Just open recovery do a full wipe and then format the internal memory (pay attention to format the right partition

)
But you don't have to wipe the partition, try sd maid

I had some strange wifi behaviour -> Wifi only worked when rebooted / flightmode - else my mobile data plan suffered ..

with the Dorimanx builds all is back as it should

It greatly depends on screen time and usage. Two-hour screen time (normal use, no videos or gaming) should give you at least 14-15 hours from 100% to 0%. Give us more information about your usage to determine if there's something wrong there.

Well, no matter usage, it's not normal to go from 100% to 40%, then back to 60% until30%, then back to 50% and so on. It can't go up and down that way, no matter usage. Check again in another battery cycle, and if it continues to do that, either there is a hardware/battery problem, or you 're not telling everything (maybe you plugged/unplugged the charger?)

Yes of course i charged the phone ?
But i mean i had to charge to phone after 4-5 hours after normal usage (some whatsapp messages, snapchat)
Have now ordred a new battery cause mine is from 2011 will report after i got the battery

Dude, get the battery replaced & your problem is solved 100%. I had the same battery dated 2011 & had been facing the same issues, ordered for a new battery & now my S2 works like a charm. I'm in love with it again.

How do I get OTA to work? I download the nightly update but it won't let me flash it. So I've rebooted and tried flashing the zip in recovery but that fails :-/
