Read the quote below regarding miscellaneous.

You're seeing normal use.*

Actually everything listed as battery use in android is estimated. Its not accurate. All miscellaneous is, is the difference between the total battery ACTUALLY used (as reported by the battery chip itself) and the total of all the android ESTIMATED uses.

I could never get synapse to play nice. Even on KK it would FC every time I tried restoring profiles.

Really? Haven't used synapse for a bit now but when I did use it and got that FC, pressing the "X" wouldn't really do anything, stock settings were applied after reopening the app after the FC and even after pressing that button stock settings were applied.

You're using an alpha rom. If you think 1 thing that breaks due to multiple things being added or fixed makes an older build better, I don't know what to say to you...

CM is adding everything back in, these builds are unofficial hence not a finished product so obviously things will break. Now there is workaround, wait for the lights to turn off on their own then turn off the screen and they'll remain turned off until you turn the screen back on. Or you could use the nav bar instead.

In the notification drawer when long pressing a notification to switch off notifications for that app I get a system UI crash.

I'm aware of that. I'm just saying I think the previous build was less buggy and more stable than the current one overall.

This rom can have some failure. But we must not forget that it is an alpha version and is under development. But I think it is very stable to be in such an early stage. I'm using this version from 3 days ago and I had no FC or reboots. And of course it is better than before and with each update it receives gives a step up.

You've gotta remember... CM is doing a lot of things in the source to get Lollipop up to snuff on phones... and since this is alpha.. things will be fixed and broken... and fixed... and broken.. a fix for 1 thing may break something else.

Exactly. For example, for me the Nov 17 version was very good, the current one almost unusable (I had to full wipe four times... not to mention the lack of deep sleep). And as I have only one phone and I use it a lot in my job, I reverted to CM11S (nandroid is GOD!) for the time being. Let's see how the next versions behave.

I experienced 100℅ cpu usage while transfering large file via wifi on my LAN network. Cpu temperature reached 72 °C. Have no idea if it's normal but it seems I didn't have this on KitKat. I have latest ak kernel.

Can you confirm?

    Sorry guys that I haven't been active in the past few weeks, but my day job and life got in the way.

    Liquidsmooth is currently rebasing from CM based to SlimRoms based, as we were with our KitKat ROM, so today I had some free time and I made a build.
