Hi, I was hoping someone here could help me. I got my S4 Mini (GT-I9195) the other day and rooted it with the official firmware. It of course came with unwanted apps, but then the other day without asking for my permission my phone automatically installed more apps, taking up another 1-2GB on my limited 5GB available internal storage which obviously annoyed me. I was wondering what is the best thing to install to get rid of these unwanted apps, even if it's a custom rom I am willing to do it... If possible, I would like to keep the same UI and notifications etc. Not sure if it is needed but I apparently needed to install a specific root for my baseband which is i9195XXUCNK1

I would suggest Titanium Backup. It can uninstall even system apps. And you don't have to install custom rom (however sad that sounds [emoji6] ).

This is absolutely perfect, thank you! A lot more than I thought... Uninstalled 107 different apps and services. I backed them up first of course, uploaded them to dropbox so I would never lose them then deleted the backups from my phone. I will eventually install a custom rom. I see the new Android 5.x custom roms for my phone which would be nice since Samsung will only support up to 4.4.2 for my phone but I want to wait until those new custom roms have been ironed out first just to be safe since I am a little paranoid about installing a custom rom and messing up my phone.

I'm glad it helped. Just bare in mind that you shouldn't use back up from one rom to restore app on another rom. Might bring you crashes. But on the same rom it works off course.
