I've been following this form for the last month before I got my new phone and I respect your opinions but I would say that CM is the exception and they usually include the modem in there roms if its official. Also I never did try a clean install going backwards 2 KitKat I just restored backups that didn't include the old modem. Guess I have something to tinker with tonight and find out

ok perhaps i was not precise enough i'm on cm11 with new modem not with cm11 included old modem, because i flashed the new modem after the last cm11 installation. but however to go back to original modem which came with the rom is certainly the safest possible way for those who don't want to take any risk. nothing wrong with that, was posting only because of the "have to" part

Actually you don't have to. I've been reading your posts for some time now and they're long and misleading. Others noticed it as well.

As far as modems, you can find flashable zips of 33r and 44s easily if you search the One android development forum. I found them that way and tried them all for best signal. Besides a couple hiccups the CM team released and were almost immediately fixed, I've had NO problems with proximity sensors with clean flashes. Just my 2¢, hopefully folks will finally learn to use search and profit from my experiences.

No problem shoot it to me in pm. But it maybe a conflict with both things trying to be used. Really should only have to pick the one you want as they both do about the same thing.
Will add to small list but to me it will be last. If more important things come up and time.

Just PM it to me and thanks again.

Just to check things out I did a clean install of cm nightly official 1/7 and problem is there too. So its on there side.

Here's something i found out last night about the constant systemUI crash on status bar pulldown. When i take away any of the quick tiles or rearrange them, the statusbar would work fine, can pull down no problem. But once i lock the screen and unlock it, systemUI will crash on statusbar pulldown again. This is constant.

So i figured it was something to do with the lockscreen. I was using pattern as my lockscreen security. So i decided to check my lockscreen settings. And when i got in, i noticed that the options "none" and "swipe" were deleted by credential storage, admin, and something something. So i did another clean flash, meaning wiped system, data, dalvik cache, and cache.

This time round, it all works, no problem. Got everything restored so it's not an app problem. When i set lockscreen security to swipe, there was no problem at all. But when i set it to pattern or pin etc, systemUI will crash on statusbar pulldown. Other than that, the rom is great! Just thought you should know. @Vortex1969 Btw, i made a donation, hope you received it, and there was a logcat before this too, cheers.

Thanks for giving me this detail information I think some of your finding go hand and hand with what was tested on page back with the cm12 nightly. And as for the new status bar quick tiles and pull down that code may still be a little buggy. Noted and will be looking into this. It may take some time.

Last but not least Thank you very much for your kind donation and your support.

Regards,
Vortex and TeamBliss

Found a solution to a problem that I have seen here many pages back. I noticed that when I played bluetooth music through my radio in my car, it sounded crappy and had the stuttering and popping. I found that on my phone, when I use the bt for music in the car, if it pops or stutters or has bad sound, I can pause the music and when I restart, everything works fine. This is also the first rom I have found on the OPO that has reliably reconnected the bt music when I re enter the car. I also get all the music information displayed.

If you are having these issues, a simple pause may help you out.

Still having issues with the proximity sensor.

I have the latest nightly and with the 44S radio, I have no issues with connectivity, but I have the proximity sensor issue where the screen will go black until the call is ended.

With the alpha modem, I cannot even get a connection when I boot the phone up. com.android.phone keeps crashing and I cannot even enter APN settings.

I'm getting pretty frustrated with the issue since some people have solved it with the alpha modem while others seem to have it working just fine with the latest update.

For reference, I've clean flashed each time I tried a combination.

Any ideas on where to go from here?

As you all know, Lollipop is new and there are going to be bugs.
Please bear with us while we work on getting things updated, and all errors fixed.
If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, and is not a known issue with CM,
please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you time, as well as us.

-Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
-After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
-Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving.
-As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
-Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
-Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the forum with a brief description of the error.

First I want to thank everyone here for there support and always your kind words.
But at this time I have illness in my family and really don't have the time to take care of things here. Like I feel that things should be out of respect for all of you.

I've talked with Tobi and he will be opening a new Bliss Bacon thread and I'm very glad that he will do this and keeping up the great support to all of you that he has been.

Once again that's to the great support group and good friends that I have made and the great user base.

This THREAD will be CLOSED after Tobi has time to set up his new Bliss Bacon thread.

I'll be around from time to time see you all soon..
And as always much love for all...[emoji4]

    Regards and Thank You,
    Vortex
