HALP!

Having an issue. I have flashed ROMs many times and just did a clean flash of the latest nightly (2-14) for the D801. Did everything correctly as usually BUT now my phone has been stuck in the LiquidSmooth boot animation for way longer than normal. Going on 10 minutes.

Scared to turn off phone or how to repair this. Any advice?

Latest nightly doesn't work, just reflash the older nightly or restore your nandroid

Come on now, where is the dev who made this ROM, the LiquidSmooth reputation is being damaged, when it comes to flashing LG version ROMS. People are bricking all over the place thinking this ROM is ok, this is some BS. Take those links down until verified working by LiquidSmooth standards. Already seen this crap happen with another popular rom I won't mention, xda mod took it offline for a bit I believe.

He mentioned it before that the nightlies are bricking the phone, the problem is that he didn't removed it from the download site.

Hey guys, I just checked up and read up, sorry I've been away had a lot of tests the past few days but got d801 d800 d802 ls980 and vs980 in the "oven" right now should be done in a few hours. The no service is really just a cosmetic bug that doesn't worry me to much since it works itself out... Thanks for letting me know though!
EDIT: D801 DIDN'T BOOT DONT FLASH IT! YOU WILL BOOTLOOP.

LOL Well that was nice to know before I did it! Thanks for the heads up! Am back on the 2-8 Nightly.

Yeah...I've tried to install LS 4.0 release from last days and had, for first time, crash of installing process.
I thought that it was because I had incomplete or Incorrect zip archive but now... Eh.

Use the older build as the newest has a fault

This isn't even a d800 problem its a simple problem and it was late at night when I posted it and I gave fair warning.. And how is the reputation being damaged? This is bull crap. Its a nightly **** happens you know, some cm nightlies don't boot but do they take it down? Do you go around waving the moderator card? And one person bootlooped woopdi freaking do, its not a hard brick. I spend a lot of time building for liquid and all of you and the feedback has all been great but if you want me to stop I will have no problem making my stuff private.

Non devs have a right to vent (aka acting entitled), but not in a development thread. Anyone who has been flashing for more than a week should realise every flash is a risk (ie these roms aren't from an oem but a private party doing it for fun), and that sometimes things just don't work. Don't pay attention to garbage complaints and keep up the good work.

Who said anything about it bricking?

Who are you to tell anyone what to do?

If people flash Roms and don't keep backups of working roms and or nandroids, good for them being stuck in a bootloop.

One build is busted and it's "damaging their reputation?" Are you really this stupid?

Blisspop made a booboo and they have a broken build. Are you going to go over there and start a protest that its starting Armageddon as well?

If you can build a ROM and never have a broken build, then please android Messiah bless us with nirvana.

Stock kernel? I ran this for about a day and a half on my vs980 and didn't notice anything.
Yeah, stock kernel, d800. Been running it since it was released with none of the glitches present until today. I haven't installed any new apps either. I thought it weird that it just started today but I figured I'd grab a log while it was doing it and then reboot.

Since rebooting, I've not seen it reappear yet but I'll keep an eye on it.

Well g2's won't build on that source......... So we are having to stick to cm based source... Plus they are not getting rid of cm they are keeping both. I'm sticking to cm theme chooser unless someone else builds rro I have no plans of fixing it up due to lack of time.

I have it building. I'll do RRO builds for g2 :p
