@T-Bolt
Didn't have issues with focusing yet, what build are you running? Mine focuses quite fast and snaps even faster...
@Levered
Can't find it anywhere on the phone / sdcard - it appears that Zopo updater erases ota zip after successful update - i didn't know that so i went straight to update when i was prompted. :( I'm currently running build ZP920 20150203 and i don't have camera like the one on the flyer...
@electron45
1) yes, rear camera is F/2.2 here too, i'm assuming i'll find same as you if i shoot few with front :/
2) should get better with few charge cycles, it usually does with chinese batteries (theese are rarely conditioned prior to shipping), i'll try your trick and report my finding but on an average day i get same battery use for cell standby and wifi, what is indeed a wee bit troubling...

Hi
@ [QS] : I confirm I'm on Build ZP920 20150203.
@ Levered : I don't know how to pick up the app to send it .:(

And in general , my battery works quiet fine , the last discharge was at 07h00 AM and at this time(6h00 PM) i have 75%
My use in the day was 30 min Bluetoooth Music in my car this morning , check of SMS and Mail twice , Few minutes on FB and at least 45 min of Icoyote and music back to home..

For the main Camera , I think I will send back the phone for this problem of Focus.
The GPS works perfectly with fix in 3 seconds..;)

There you go buddy, hope it works for you: http://goo.gl/7RWhMi

N.B. Since I haven't rooted my 920 yet, I used Apk Extractor app from Play store. For me apk works but I'm not sure it will work for everyone (if Magic Shot has dependencies, etc...)

WARNING: VirusTotal thinks it's a adware/riskware so proceed with caution - I've frozen app on my phone (I prefer stock camera anyways)

Bluetooth connection interrupted

Hello,

I am using the Zopo ZP920 with rooted firmware ZP920 20150203.

I use the ZP920 to connect to my bluetooth speakers (JBL Soundfly BT and Bose Soundlink II). The connection works, but after some time, it is disconnected and after about 20 seconds reconnects.

I have no clue why. I already tried an app called "Bluetooth Keepalive", but no success. I stream the music from Spotify, so the WLan is active while BT is in use.

In the MTK Engineering settings I find some parameters for bluetooth, but I am not sure if that helps. Do you know what can be done?

Is this a known bug and will be solved in future firmware releases?

Thanks for your help

Kind regards

Mario

@digiphotos

Hey there,

I personally haven't experienced such bug, but i've only used bluetooth paired with car system in phone mode - it worked flawlessly. Does it happen on both bluetooth speakers or just one set? Bluetooth keepalive app would help if bt connection was dropping and then staying down (because phone went to sleep), but you describe connection drop and then reconnect. How far do you keep your phone from speakers when playing? Could there be some interferrence? Since you're rooted, could you provide portion of logcat when such connection loss happens?

EDIT: Tested with my cheapo chinese MAQ PA306 bluetooth speaker - played few hours without a single hickup from stock Music capp and Google Music app. Friend is bringing JBL set later today so I'll try with his pair too...

Cheers :)

Hello,

it works flawlessly with my BT headset Samsung HS 3000 (telephone calls and music transmission - perfect). It happens on my Bluetooth speakers JBL Soundfly BT and Bose Soundlink II. Both speakers work perfectly with other smartphones.

The connection loss often occurs after some time. I have recorded a log in catlog and the connection interrupted after about 20 minutes and then reconnected. So the Catlog was running for 20 minutes and the TXT-file is very big (about 400 MB).

Just a few moments after the connection interruption and reconnect, I finished the catlog recording. I have zipped the file to about 19 MB and uploaded it. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to post links here, so I will write you a private message with the link.

Could you look into the log?

Thank you and kind regards

Hello,

a friend of mine had a look at the Catlog file and found the relevant log entries. They are as follows:

The phone is lying next to the bluetooth speaker (JBL SoundFly) and the connection is good. The problem occurs with the bluetooth speakers JBL SoundFly BT and Bose Soundlink II. Both speakers work flawlessly with other smartphones.

Can you identify where the error is? By the way: With the firmware version from January, the WiFi and Bluetooth always crashed after some time of inactivity (about half an hour sleep mode). I could not disable WiFi and Bluetooth any more and had to restart the phone. With the February version of the software these crashes still happen, but not very often (maybe once in three days). But this bluetooth problem is very annoying.

Thanks for you help

Kind regards

Youtube FullHD

Hi!
I have a question for owners of this amazing phone :)
I got it two weeks ago and find it really awesome, but I have one little problem - YouTube doesn't want to play in 1080p. When I go to quality selection it offers only 720p. 1080p videos from files play normally :) Does anyone have this problem too, or is it just my phone? :) Thanks!

Actually I can't 'cause I'm new here and obviously I can't post links 'till I have 10 posts on this forum.

But If you search for "HD Test 1080P Full HD (Avatar)", you'll find it for sure. And this video I can play in my computer in 1080p, but the phone still offers only 720p. :(

I guess it can be because the phone is too new and the YT app doesn't know how to handle it correctly. But maybe I'm wrong :)
I'm thinking of writing to YouTube if they knew something about the real cause :)

    For installing OTA update, you first have to reflash original recovery.Sent from my ZP920

    No need to reflash recovery if you have root and want to install an OTA update!
    The OTA update comes as a zip inside of another zip in the adupsfota folder of the phone's microSD card.
    All you have to do is:

    1) unzip OTA update (you may need to copy it to your PC to do it), you will need the inner update.zip file only, not MD5 sum file.
    2) put this file to the root of your microSD card
    3) download and put this SuperSU update also, get it there: http://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip
    4) with these two files ready, reboot to recovery (either with extended reboot menu of Xposed+Gravitybox, or in a usual way, with cable connected and Vol+ pressed)
    5) install update.zip (look for it on sdcard1)
    6) immediately after (maybe with another reboot to recovery), install SuperSU update zip
    7) reboot, the phone will go through Android Apps updating procedure
    8) upon reboot, reactivate Xposed Framework if you are using it
    9) reboot
    10) go to Phone settings -> about -> OTA update, and there, try installing the OTA update, as if you had usual recovery. It WILL fail, but it will reset some OTA update flag, so that you will be able to receive further OTA updates.
    11) ready
