You know, there are some very good themes available on the play store that will theme the new play store just fine, and I highly recommend this one,

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=darkuimtrl.thyrus.releaseCM12

This one...

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.r3ds.market.nephilimblue

And anything by DJDarkKnight96 and Train88 once they release their CM12 themes.

And please buy the full ones, they are best in class, the devs will support them all year, unlike the many whom release one premium theme, collect some quick money, and then abandon them.

Who needs to pay for a CM theme to run on a 13000 line of code theme engine & be restricted to a CM ROM when you can get free themes just as good on layers which runs on a lot of different Roms.

Yes, excellent strategy, encourage users to continue to expect free themes, on a thread where the best themers on xda work hard to continue the improvement of the cyanogenmod theme engine, and to the nascent potential of RRO.

Thyrus, and DJDarkKnight96 in particular are improving both. So thus I believe it wise to encourage the purchase of these themes in this thread, and to the donation to these devs. I also believe that bragging about RRO's superiority on this thread serves no positive use, and emphasizing that most RRO themes are free is counterproductive. You'll know RRO has succeeded when hard working, talented devs get paid for the work they invest.

RRO has enjoyed an excellent start, with strong dev backing, and the launch of a layers app that will allow for the user to acquire paid themes.

I'm all for RRO, and I think competition to CyanogenMod is a healthy thing to witness.

That stated, I continue to support the purchase of premium themes by top-drawer devs, and believe that RRO requires the support and abundance of premium themes.

I've already seen threads devoted to RRO themes where at least the themer has a donate button. I suggest you and others use it.

FWIW, there are plenty of AOSP (non CyanogenMod roms) that include the theme engine.

And I appreciate your continued support of Slim KitKat Gapps, but there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to come here on this thread and make a post that discourages good development.

We theme all these apps for free, even though they take hours at a time to update (per app). You want even more free stuff? Exactly the attitude why I personally am not making themes anymore. (over a 100 downloads of each free version, about 10 downloads of each donate version - 'Nuff said)

We gonna make the next set of updates huge........

Oh it's on now!

All our awsome dark themers already have big amount of our love and appreciation. Unfortunatelly, very few devs can have really big benefit of development, majority of users prefer not to pay.

Donation or buying an app is rather a really nice gesture. I would love if it was more than that.

In average, if some application has both free and paid version, compared to amount of free downloads only about 1% people will buy a paid version. Sad but true.

Just look on XDA forum: it is also obviously too big task to expect that more than 1% of people who download files will hit thanks button.

Not sure if it is device specific. On a sprint note 4 running 3/8 build also happened on 3/4 build. I install a theme and get constant reboots. Anyone else getting this with cm12. I have to go into safe mode and go back to stock theme.

We have only a few team members now because some are planning on being lightly active, so if you're already into doing Blacked Out apps, hit us up if you wanna join. T-BOTS.png

T-BOTs are the Team Black Out Testers. When we update an app or start a new one from scratch, we can put anywhere from 20 minutes to 10 hours into 1 app for all of you and then testing that app can take 10-60 minutes and we don't use every app we Black Out so we're bound to miss some hidden things. Well, this is where our Loyal T-BOTs come into play. Once we update an app they get busy looking for issues for us. This gives us more time to be able to update more apps, start new apps or just have some non-android fun. So make sure you thank the T-BOTs when you get blown away from how amazing these apps are!

Obviously this style is the most popular. We don't theme our apps with images but rather Invert the Colors so you'll have Dark backgrounds and Light texts. This is very popular and has become something that many avid Android users have come to thoroughly enjoy so we will do our best to give you more of what you love!

    Transparent.png

Transparent apps have become more popular the last year or so and some members of the Team have been offering them for a while now. Our transparent series of apps are called Clear Apps. Being able to see your wallpaper while you're using your favorite apps is just cool! We'll be offering our own wallpapers soon for you to use!

Ok kids... click on "Welcome to the Dark Side" at the top and it will take you to our official Team Black Out website! All downloads are hosted there only to keep track of everything. If you've used any of our apps in the past in your Aroma installers or in your ROM, you can still use them. Link back to our SITE wherever you post our content tho. Do not post something in a different forum using our work and then PM us to let us know and hope it's ok with us.... It isn't. Ask first and we'll work with you but ask for forgiveness and we have a problem.

    Thanks
