So if I just want to test out this 5.1 version should I be able to go back to a 5.0.2 ROM with no issues?
Yeah you can,If you are in for a test I recommend to use multi ROM.

BTW why aren't QA threads are being used and all discussions take place here in Dev thread?
Why don't make a QA thread in appropriate section yo keep all tjings clean? What say?@GROGG88

make sure u are using multirom v31 with its latest recovery
Already was on v3.1 and the latest recovery.

Flashed yesterday on multirom (normal, no test release) as secondary and works ok.
(First boot went on boot loop [?] - about 20 minutes - but a second boot went just ok).
Tried it again, no chance; or maybe I'm just too impatient ;)

I flashed as a secondary MultiROM and it works fine.
I am using the test release of MultiROM though:

:good: This worked for me!!! Thanks a lot! Still had to first flash 5.02 and then dirty flash 5.1.

Q&A threads were auto created when I made the dev threads. I cannot control the actions of others...

I love this rom. It's fast and stable and a great alternative for cleanrom. However I have a problem that's kind of a showstopper to me. I cannot connect to my company exchange server to sync my email and agenda. Probably because you removed a little to much from aosp email. The option to add an exchange account is no longer in the accounts list. Can this be fixed or am I doing something wrong?

I seem to have that option intact....

Everything is running great for me except when my kids go to use watch Disney, Watch Disney xd and Disney Jr the get fc issues. It's probably an app issue and just needs to be updated.

The Disney apps broke under 5.0.x. Disney said it as a know issue and has since released an update that fixes it. I will try them on this later today and let you know.

I did not remove "a little to much from aosp email", but rather removed it all together! :silly:

Yes, I do as well. I have removed AOSP Email since Gmail added compatible functionality.

My mistake. I removed gmail with Titanium backup, because I don't like gmail. I just hate the label thing and with a lot of email it's also unstable.
Unfortunately removing gmail also removes Microsoft exchange functionality. I reinstalled gmail and everything is working now.

The only problem I have (and I can live with that) is UC browser doesn't work anymore. Don't know why, but there are plenty of working alternatives.

App compatibility with newer android versions should be addressed with the developers of said app.

Please add OTG & Fast charging!

Love the build and it has everything I need but OTG charging and fast charging. These 2 will fill in the small holes that make the N7 such a perfect media player. Recognizing FAT32 and DT2W are huge plus features right out of the gate. Thanks!

Can someone please mirror the ROM for Flo on Google drive! I have a slow connection, I start download and it downloads 100 MB or so in an hour and then the site changes the download address automatically and my download fails, can't even resume it by refreshing link in IDM. Already tried thrice :(

    1. Make sure you have performed a clean install and have not flashed anything else or restored ANYTHING!!!
    2. If you experience a bug then boot into safe mode and see if it persists.
    3. If bug persists in safe mode then provide me with useful info:
      • build date

      • detailed description of bug
      • steps necessary to reproduce symptom(s)
      • include a logcat
    4. Failure to provide ALL this information will result in me ignoring your post and laughing at you...
