Does anyone know how to get Windows to see the TF701T? I want to Flash TWRP onto it, but my Win7 laptop won't see it for some reason. I tried using MTP (?) Mode by going into Download Mode, but it still says it's an "Unknown Device". Since TWRP is in IMG format, I obviously can't install it using the Recovery Menu. :)

I scoured the Internet looking for Windows drivers, but could not find any. But I know this same laptop had to see my TF701T before, when I originallyused ADB to put CWM on it. I just can't remember what I did to get the same laptop to see it. :)

I sometimes have the same difficulty. Here are some things to try... make sure you're using the cable that came with the tablet. If you're using a usb hub, try plugging it directly into the laptop. Make sure Windows7 is set to automatically download drivers: in the Devices and Printers area, find the device that is the name of your laptop, right click it, find and click the item "Device Installation settings" and from there you can tell windows to automatically download drivers or not. I think one time I got so frustrated trying to get my laptop to recognize the tablet I plugged the tablet into my son's desktop and it worked just fine. Obviously that last doesn't help if you don't have a second computer available.

Somewhere, I think in the tf701-TWRP specific thread, is a link posted by sbdags where you can download a flashable .zip version of the recovery, meaning you can flash it from the existing recovery. That's how I flashed TWRP to my tf701 and it worked fine.

Has anyone seen this?

I've used this wallpaper in the past with no issues. But now the graphics in it are pixelated. Has anyone else seen this? All the other stock wallpapers are fine. This is strange....I've restarted to see if it clears up to no avail.

I have the same problem.

Looks like Asus buggered up the res of this wallpaper in their latest update.

    TF701T USERS: YOU MUST BE UNLOCKED, ON THE ASUS STOCK KK 4.4.2 BOOTLOADER VERSION 11.4.1.29 OR 11.4.1.30 AND HAVE A WORKING RECOVERY - TWRP 2.8.x.x BEFORE FLASHING THIS ROM.

    I recommend you do a full wipe if coming from another ROM source (CM11 , etc). Choose Wipe in TWRP and Factory Wipe. If you UNLOCK it will also force you to WIPE. You can upgrade (dirty flash) over Asus Stock, CROMi-X 6.x or CROMi-X 7.x but please WIPE if you have any issues.

    You can restore data from Titanium Backups but please do not restore system data or apps from a previous version or another ROM if you want a nice clean smooth upgrade experience.

    If you are coming from another source like Cyanogenmod or AOSP then you must wipe first. No excuses. ;)

    Please Unlock using the Asus Unlock Tool first found here.
    Note installing and running this app will wipe your device and void your warranty.

    Finally copy the ROM to a folder on your internal SD and flash it from Recovery, and reboot :)
    Don't forget to do a Nandroid Backup first and give the ROM 5 mins to stabilise!

    How to Flash​

    Make sure you have prepared by copying the ROM zip file to your internal SD card or external micro SD card first.

    - You can flash TWRP using the instructions here.

    - Use the bootloader and TWRP upgrade zips below if you are already running a custom rom and recovery - just flash from recovery then install CROMi-X ;)

    Fastboot boot images and flashable zips including the latest bootloader post

    - Boot to the BootLoader screen by holding down volume down and power together whilst booting.

    - Start the recovery by making sure the RCK icon is highlighted (use volume down to move) and push volume up to select.

    - In recovery choose INSTALL - select the rom.zip from /sdcard or microsd card by using the SELECT STORAGE button

    Sorry guys you may have noticed my absence on the forums as of late.

    My wife has recently finished 5 months of chemo and we are preparing for surgery next Tuesday. So rightly I have not had time to work on anyting Transformer related.

    As soon as she gets a clean bill of health I will look back into updating the ROM.

    OK I am putting the next beta of CROMI-X 7.1 Beta 2 up for everyone to test. You can flash it over Stock 4.4.2 or over CROMi-X 7.0.3, but if coming from CM11/12 you must do a full wipe.

    If on a dirty install you get a FC message just reboot and it will clear itself. For some reason com.google.process.gapps seesm to crash once every reboot, but is fine after that.

    Test this one out for me guys. The only known issue I have is that after the first install the app store crashes if you try to display your apps. After a single reboot that goes away. Other wise it is running really well and very smooth!! :D
