This might work for DBT Turbo too but I haven't tested it yet.

I tried to launch windows 9x
After downloading Version 1.0 , I launched it and that message popped up

My device - Samsung galaxy tab 4 (t-235)
Ram- 1,5 GB
Cpu - Samsung Exynos 3470, 4x1,40 GHz
In dosbox.conf :

memsize=512

And i launch the windows
And get this message in normal mode
But it can only run at safe mode
Any help??

Not enough free memory clear some apps out of the recent programs or reboot the device. You can also reduce the memory amount to the default 256.

As noted in the OP the 2.0 image is less stable and can give you error messages. If it becomes corrupt re-extract the image from the zip and start fresh.

2)b] Version 2.0 is less stable due to the Win9x CD/ISO support. Use this version to play games that require the use of CD’s i.e. mounted ISO images.
Notes:
-The CD Rom support makes emulation less stable and can cause error messages when starting win9x with DosBox Turbo.
- If you experience errors simply exit and restart the app.
-To use ISO files they must be located within a folder before transferring them to the HDD.img.
-If the ISO is not located in a folder it will attempt to fill the HDD image and won't work correctly.
-There are alternatives to installing game data from the ISO.
-You can use the WinImage program to extract the ISO’s contents to a folder.
-This can be added to an HDD image and the setup exe run from inside of an emulated win9x environment.
-Many classic games can be run with Game Fixes, that will allow you to play without the CD.

DOSBox Turbo builtin dpad not working

Anyone know how to setup the built-in virtual dpad?
During the Edit Config, Button/Controller Maps, I do not see the dpad. Though, there's already preset/predefined dpad mappings. However if I accidently changed them or deleted them, there's no way to get them back again.

I've tried using gamepad, and while this works, it's not as smooth as I wanted it to be. Games like System Shock requires use of direction keys and mouse-look simultaneously. So when I use the gamepad for direction, the mouselook doesn't work. I have to stop direction keys, wait a delay, then the mouse look responds.

If you reinstall the app any files that were accidentally deleted should reappear. You can also give GameKeyboard + a try its got a complicated setup but the controls are fairly responsive.

Running on a Galaxy S4, I337M. 2GB hard drive.

Tried changing the DOSBox RAM, 512, 256, 128, 64, no use. Tried rebooting, freezing nearly all my apps to free the RAM at the max, nothing. Ran both version 1.0 and 2.0, same error.

I don't know what else to attempt now

EDIT: It does work under FreeDOS without any changes, for some reason. But I would really love to get turbo running, if it's actually faster.

EDIT: FIXED! Didn't worked with the latest Turbo version. Worked perfectly when I tried DOSBox Turbo 2.1.16.

Monster Bash runs really really slow compared to other more advanced games like Little Big Adventure & System Shock.
Anyway know how to speed up Monster Bash?

Also, Alien Carnage (Halloween Harry), the menu freezes and I can't select anything. Anyone else get this problem?

Also, where can we put requests?

The much-desperately needed save-state would help a lot for those pesky games like Little Big Adventure where we can't save.

Thanks for posting your helpful info about the latest version having issues. You might want to send an Email to the developer and let him know there's an issue with his latest build and Win9x support. Have you tried aFreebox? Just wondering if it has the same issues as DBT:good:

I didn't contacted the developpers (yet). I did tried aFreeDOS first, it worked perfectly without tweaking. Same dosbox.conf used (in manual of course).

Which is weird because they say aFreeDOS and DOSBox Turbo are almost the same. Either way with 2.1.16, DOSBox Turbo work perfect, with any amount of RAM (Up to 512 of course).

Oh, I also tried ExGear RPG for fun and more speed. Actually really surprised on how it can run games like Sonic R at like full speed. But besides Sonic R and DX Ball 2, couldn't run anything (Well, it's based on Wine, huh? Dissapointing on how maybe how it was ported makes it really basic, somehow I can't even reach the registry editor, a command line, or launch MS Paint? That's weird. Still, the effort was really there, nice job, surprised).

2)c] Version 3.0 runs slightly faster since its based on win95 but only has DX8.0 support and therefore doesn't run as many games as V1.0. Use this version to play games on a slower device that don't require DX9C support.

Nexus 9 DosBox Turbo GPU Rendering crash

Just recently picked up a Nexus 9 and got DosBox Turbo up and running.... It works pretty well except that whenever I enable GPU rendering I crash to desktop after a few minutes of play. I have defaulted settings and only enabled this to single it out as the problem. I have been using Doom (Ultimate), DoomII (full) and Civilization 1 as a test, but it seems to do it with other dosgames as well. Has anyone really polished up a config for Nexus 9? or anything I should be changing? After I rooted I noticed you can force 2D apps to use GPU from the Dev options, does this have the same effect?

does anyone know how to add a third drive to version 2.0? i've set the config up and it works on a standard DT instance (I have c: D: and e:, being img, img, path to my usb respectively). However if I copy this config into the windows dosbox.config (with F: as the drive letter) I still only see c:\ , d:\ and e:\ as drives. even if I could add another img(or a bigger img) as a drive that would help.

Your Windows 95a config (3rd OS image) has the error.
There is in system.ini:
maxfilecache-8192
while has to be
maxfilecache=8192

Also these settings seem to be too low for your recommended memsize=256 Numbers at thpc.info/ram/vcache.html are more.
