I've noticed some issues in the 06/21 release:
-Touch/multitouch problems (stock ROM detects many simultaneous touches, but CM 12.1 detects only 3)
-Sometimes it gets really laggy.
-Google Maps is waaay too slow/laggy.
-Weird icon grouping in the desktop. Original is prettier.

There is some issue in RAM management. When using the Chrome or Facebook for 5 minutes the phone gets freezed and we cannot use it for another 5 mins and automatically the phone gets back to normal after some time..

Same for me since the ROM is out.
Now the ROM is stable (about bugs), I think Mrcl has beginned to fix the random lags when using some apps. :)

Its not a ROM issue, its the app. Facebook and Chrome are known RAM eaters and get horrible ratings in Google play. I'd advise you use Facebook Lite instead of Facebook and CM Browser instead of Chrome. Both can be found on the Play Store.

No.

It's another problem, lags starts when using music player too, or using spotify, the lag is huge when you use app audio with data stream, for example spotify, deezer, maps and many others.

This problem were present in CM11 too, but after were solved, is something rom related.

That's right, I had the same problem, there is two ways to fix:

1) Install Tangerine Kernel
2) Wait until the next build

Both devs (Mrcl1450 and Tomoms) fix the read ahead buffer size bug

It's a ROM issue, in stock Sony ROM, it's work good, no lag, but I don't want to come back on stock. I seen in Github some optimizations. Just waiting the next build. :)

Its the hardware.
The SP only has 1GB RAM and the apps are constantly updating to serve devices with higher specs. If you go back to stock 4.3 right now (with walkman removed) you'd experience the same stuff with apps like Facebook and Facebook Messenger.

Strange because I have my friend who have the Xperia SP (never unlocked or flashed with custom rom, etc) on the latest stock. All is fine with FB and Chrome. :angel:

I've switched back to the built-in kernel today, but I'm still experiencing issues with the Ambient Display

If ambient display isn't fixed then what is changed in latest build? I am asking because there is no new changelog.

Edit: Searched a little and from what I gather (from github)

Changelog:

- Decreased Read-Ahead Buffer Size
- OpenGL Optimizations
- Low RAM Optimizations
- Some Cleanup
- Startup Optimizations
- WiFi Optimizations
- MPDecision Optimization

Please don't spam read carefully. I know ambient is not fixed. I know he said that AFTER he uploaded a new build. Hence I asked what was changed in the new build. I did not say ambient is not working or ask when will ambient be fixed.

    - Boot into Recovery
    - Full Wipe (dalvik, system, data, cache)
    - Flash Rom
    - Flash Gapps (optional)
    - Reboot
    Note: You don't need to clean install if you are updating the rom.

    Change to F2FS File System: This will delete all you user data!
    - Reboot into recovery
    - Plug the usb cable to computer
    - Use the following adb commands
    - adb shell mkfs.f2fs /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/Cache
    - adb shell mkfs.f2fs /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/Userdata

    I merged in the last changes for cm-12.1 nightlies and due to our collaboration: we have merged in all changes and nightlies will start within 48 hours.

    This also means that Mrcl1450 will be a official maintainer, he will work with me (I am very busy with other projects so I only have time to do code review) to keep this device up to date..

    How to do a logcat​
    1º Download Logviewer and extract the files.

    2º Connect the phone to pc an check if you have usb debugging active

    3º Opening logview.bat it will ask for adb path (adb is in the logview folder)

    4º Now you should see the log spamming about sensors. Right click in the message and press "Hide with this tag". Do this for the 5 sensors messages and you should be good to start logging.

    5º     Now go to the menu adb and click reset logs. After this reproduce the bug.

    Example:
    Camera app is crashing.
    -Click reset log.
    -Open camera.
    -Disconnect device from pc to stop logging
    -Go to file, save, give a name.

    6º Send me the log.
