Bluetooth reboots issue is still there in latest temasek note 3 and arter 7.1. I've clean wiped so many times. Bluetooth still causes the phone to enter soft reboot loop that can only be exited by disabling the vehicle bluetooth. I'm sure it's the kernel as the stock kernel with the same rom, Bluetooth and music app are rock stable.

This issue has been here for months, but nobody else reports it, I'm guessing few people use this kernel plus temasek plus power amp. Funny, considering arter name is in the boot up message of temasek rom, yet the 2 developments glitch out when combined

Hi everyone, I installed the ROM on my galaxy note 3 and I really like it. But I have some annoying crashes from either samsung or experia keyboard They stop and crash. I had to install the google keyboard to type. Do you have this problem and if so; how to fix it.
Thanks and cheers

Absolutely amazing! Went back to touchwiz to get better battery but left because I hate it. Now running your kernel with CM12.1 and its glorious! Thanks man, great job

im having the same experience with that combo on n900t. very inconsistent... but with any app at some point the phone will reboot. everything else is muuuch much better with this kernel though!

Last versione give me FC on phone app when start o_O
Anyone else?
Same here, on Aryamod v6, must be something within the rom, some scripts maybe not playing nice with Arter97's?
Joining the bandwagon...
+1 on AryaMod v6, without and with cache/dalvik cache wipe. Coming from OEA stock kernel with init.d. I have tried removing the init.d support in ROM Aroma, but result is still the same.
Just an update, still phone FC on AryaMod v7.

Bluetooth on Temasek + Arter kernels with BT Patcher and ANT+ Enabler is rock stable. It is expensive but worth it.
For sure BT issue is driver related.

Same problem here. But it feels like the problem is gone after the first reboot.
Maybe I can provide some logs if somebody tells me how to extract them from my device.

Omg I accidentally deleted my post.

I accidentally deleted the previous post.

Anyway, if it freezes, pull a logcat or last kmsg for the developer Arter97. He can help maybe.
I'm not a dev.
Make sure you don't have a CPU tuning app with a bad configuration or settings. Make sure its not xposed causing the issue (if you're using that) and make sure greenify or similar apps are not killing an important task.
If all else fails, clean flash

If its the exynos version, no. The supported devices are listed in the OP. Check it out

Kernel auduitor or faux clock are what I use

Would you mind sharng your settings with these kernel using faux clock?

Hi. This kernel looks like what i need.

But i have the less common Japanese SM-N900D

Can anyone please tell me if it can work on the Japanese Note 3? (from the Docomo telephone company)

Just checking if anyone is experiencing random brightness ramp-up when you wake up the phone on this kernel?

/* User configurable vnswap toggle */

vnswap is a virtual ramdisk driver from Samsung that can be used with zswap.
The goal is to efficiently replace zram.
Enabling vnswap will try to compress 50% of your RAM, resulting in
6GB+ usable memory on Galaxy Note 3 and
    4GB+ usable memory on Galaxy S4 LTE-A.
Enabling this will drastically improve multitasking experience at the cost of slightly reduced power efficiency.
This is recommended for users who heavily multitasks or do not turn off the phone for days.
This is turned on by default on all Touchwiz ROMs.
You can manually enable or disable it via writing 1 or 0 to /data/.arter97/vnswap and reboot.
(You will have to create /data/.arter97 directory and create vnswap textfile yourself.)
You can check if the vnswap is working properly by checking /proc/swaps

/* What you need to know - Galaxy Note 3 AOSP */

This kernel has a very different characteristics compared to other AOSP kernels,
this kernel is not based on CyanogenMod sources, thus it doesn't have all of those unstable CAF commits.
By basing on stock OSRC kernel releases, you can expect ultimate stability.

    /* FAQ */

Why are other CPU governors disabled?
I personally don't want any of my users to play around CPU governors. It'll start be a mess when I try to add support for other CPU governors.
Can I use stock mpdecision and stock thermal engine?
This one too, I'd like my users to stick with Lazyplug and intelli-thermal. Stock implementation is faulty, cores can lock down with stock mpdecision. As for intelli-thermal, the benchmarking score may reduce but will help for a lower temperature of the device and increase the efficiency of the thermal control.
How can I switch to another or stock kernel?
You may have to reinstall the entire ROM. Wipe /system and install the ROM. The included addon.d script helps the kernel to survive on nightly upgrades, but you need to remove it or wipe /system to switch to another kernel.
