I am on the SM-N920A as well. You will be a God to me if you can do it. It's been 5 days without root and I'm going crazy!
It's not safe rooting the att and verizon version. The phone doesn't boot afterwards.

Noble Kernel for N920T | Building...

    I'm compiling a kernel for N920T: D

Hats off to the OP, Mahn_IT for the kernel development and ROOT for the NOTE 5- I was one of the first to flash this Noblle Kernel with root when it was first released and am so glad to have ROOT working on the NOTE 5 - but I am getting pretty frustrated with the random reboots - it seems to happen mostly when I am on a phone call - I have seen others say the say thing -

    - I am not complaining - only frustrated, and hoping we can get a more stable kernel sometime soon. had hoped the new kernels posted in your development thread might help but those don't boot at all - so, I wait.
    i
I am not a developer but I am willing to help test so I will continue to keep an eye on your threads in the hopes that we can get past this kernel that seems to be causing reboots and get a more stable kernel. Thanks for all your hard work - lookng forward to the next update.

    Thank you for everything!
I've noticed the problem in my kernel. I will try to handle it, just matter of time
