I verified this is not a ROM problem unless its also in Cyanogen. Anyone know a good non Cyanogen ROM should try to verify this is something on my phone?
I have formatted data recently and system repeatedly. Music player is fine at the moment, but I know if I start swiping or tapping to advance to the next song, it will die quickly.

It's because you're letting your TK-GApps package overwrite the default clock app with the Google one.
Make a text file, and on the first line, put the word "Exclude". On the second line, put the word "GoogleClock".
Save this file as gapps-config.txt, and put it in the same directory as where your TK-Gapps is stored. TK-Gapps will stop replacing the stock Clock with Google's clock going forward. This option will be respected for all future TK-GApps releases, as long as that text file is in the same directory as the gapps zip.

You don't need to use "sideload". You can use MTP from recovery or use ADB provided you create the folder you're going to push to first (formatting data as F2FS will wipe out everything on internal).
To everyone suggesting it, let's stop telling people the only way to get files on the phone either before/after F2FS conversion is to use adb sideload. Sideload is a really annoying an unneeded step that doesn't accomplish anything that MTP or even regular ADB push doesn't.
Seeing as TK-GApps automatically removes all already-installed GApps when you flash (if it finds any), yes, I think in your case, reflashing the ROM dirty, and then flashing the GApps package over again would do just fine. (Of course, back up to be sure).
I used to always wonder this about the Clock app as well, because I hated having a persistent alarm icon in my status bar. I don't even use the stock clock app (I use AlarmPad), but the stock clock app disables the icon for all apps.
Anyways, BEFORE you do what you're about to do, I strongly suggest you take a look at the TK-GApps config file guide. If there are google apps in the package you're flashing that you routinely find yourself removing when you boot into the ROM for the first time (Like Play Newsstand is totally useless to me), you can use the config file to stop ANY of them from being installed in the first place. A lot of people think TK-GApps (and previous PA-GApps) are just a zip collection of apps, but they are so, so much more intelligent than that.

MAKE SURE TO ADD THE WORD "TEST" TO YOUR FILE WHILE YOU TRY IT. If you do this, instead of actually flashing, when you flash TK-GApps in TWRP, it will emulate what it would have done, and then output that to a text file on your storage, so you can see what got copied, what got ignored, what got deleted, etc.
It takes 5 minutes to figure this out and once you do, you'll have your own custom GApps setup any time you flash any TK-GApps package in the future.

Too late! Already did it. When you mentioned a config file I immediately Google'd it to see what else I could do and made a huge deletion file, email apps (I use K9), Calendar (I use a different one so I can control the Busy flag for Agent .. a feature that Google got rid of), and all those stupid live wallpapers and photo table crap (not sure if they are gone, but the useless apps are), and a ton more. Its nice to all that crap gone and know it won't come back! I didn't feel like deleting it because it would have been a waste of time. Reflashed Gapps to see if it would delete some of that stuff, then Temasek back over it to see if it would get the clock back.
But ... the clock was still broken. I deleted it with 3C and then pulled the one out of the Temasek ZIP and installed it manually. That worked! Odd that the Google one is newer with fewer features ... just like the Calendar. I used to back up the old Google calendar before giving up and just using a different one.

Well, Even though I tried nearly a dozen apps which were all highly rated and had the exact same problem, I never tried Phonograph. It works. I cant break it!
Now solved... @katinatez the lockscreen issue with the weird PIN problem was solved by a recent ROM update, nor sure which.
My alarm clock a back and my music can now play! I am really happy

So, I made the mistake of trying TRDS and then trying the color override. After turning both off, all of my currently playing notifications are now black on dark grey, even when I try toggling between my custom theme (Euphoria) and the stock theme.
In the future, I won't be touching TRDS, but is there any way to fix this now without reflashing?

OK- spoke too soon. It can still lock up, but can kill it with my back button and restart it. It doesn't lay waste to the whole system. I wonder if he bypasses the system media queue and only queues one song at a time. It would mean there is still a system bug rather than every other app being broken, but this is at least quite useable.

So, even on a stock install, without touching TRDS, if I apply my theme, none of the notification colors (that come with the theme) get changed, and my Now Playing notifications are still black on dark grey (making them almost unreadable). I have not touched TRDS, its color override, or the Custom Colors section of the Notification Drawer settings page.
I might have attributed this to my custom theme (Euphoria) not being updated for a newer theme engine, but I don't think so, because if I go back to stock theme and even reboot, my Now Playing notification is still black on dark grey. Something is preventing the notification colors from being changed.
Did u try click reset button on that settings. It's in top right corner.
Yep. Tried that, no luck. Notification colors still aren't changing with themes, and on stock, certain notifications (especially Now Playing notifications) are black on dark grey.

...I did. Multiple times. It does not reset. I tried regular CM, Blisspop, and DU, and all of them properly change notification colors to what they're supposed to be, whether the theme specifies it or whether it's stock.
Those are benchmarks from an XPeria Z1. The OPO already has extremely fast eMMC 5.0 NAND. I would love to see proper benchmarks done on it, because as it stands, choosing to go F2FS kills off the ability to use a fair few number of kernels, especially Render, and I'm not convinced it's worth it.
Double tap to wake keep disabling.

I have lots of problems after 15.8 version like soft reboot when I change a track from poweramp... I was thinking to downgrade...

How format Data/Cache partitions to F2fs?

4. Now reboot recovery and do a factory reset
5. Wipe all partitions (System, Cache, Data, Dalvik/Art)
Format Data ( Including internal storage)
1. Check the box for "data"
2. Tap "change or repair file system"
3. Tap "Change file system"
4. Tap "F2FS"
5. Swipe the button
Use the same method for "Cache"
You can now flash your ROM as usual but, since you wiped your internal storage, you have to use pen drive where is all needed files
