Replace your sim tray. It's a hardware issue. You may look up the dim replacement video on YouTube.

Idk if this is helping anyone, but by me the sim card problem appears on every rom, BUT when the popup appears and I reboot my phone (sometimes the popup come back after the reboot and I have to reboot again) But then the sim card error doesn't appear again, so long I not restart my phone or shut it down.

Seems like a hardware problem with the phone, either sim tray is starting to break or the sim card isn't touch the pins correctly

I am sure you have already checked this - but just in case,

there was one time when I was placing the battery cover back on the phone where I must have somehow touched the sim card in the process and it was not sitting correctly in the sim card holder. I was getting random sim car errors, depending on the angle of the phone, etc. I reflashed a few different roms, flashed back to stock, etc but still had the random errors / messages.

By chance, pulled the cover off again and noticed the sim card was loose. Clicked it back in place and have not had a problem since.

As noted, you have probably already checked this - but sometimes the simple solutions are overlooked

try your rom on my GS4 SGH-I337M and when i put the code to unlock my simcard shows an error message over and over until reboots itself... back to alberom

Tried and doesnt work.... Also tried to install 454 and imperium kernel... No signal !! Im from brazil !! Please help me.

It's actually an easy fix and a Rom issue. Reflash it after wiping of course. During setup after choosing WiFi connection, uncheck the box for report diagnostic information, a pop up will ask you to accept or not, hit accept. That's it and you should have signal back and staying.

My phone is actually a Sprint Galaxy S4 but some Rom's including this one on this side of the forums do work on the Sprint versions. Modem is OH1, didn't flash a different modem or kernel, just wiped in recovery and flashed the rom. Sac's S6 port found in the Sprint side also has this issue which is how I know of the bug and fix.

    I have no issues with anyone taking files from my update, however please ensure that you give proper credit whenever you do so​

    This is an update to the aurora ROM for I9505

    So what does this update do.... well it modifies your system and brings in the following changes:

    - Fixed the GPS / location issues
    - Fixes auto brightness issues and values changed to stock S4 one's
    - De-link the notification and media sound.
    - Increase the sound and quality across all streams with my very own tweaks & note4 libs
    - Stagefright fixes except for 3865 and the new 6602.
    - New power options
    - Chineese characters completely removed globally.
    - Enables all apps in multiwindow with floating multi-window (note 4 sytle)
    - Smart stay now works- Included the volume fix provided earlier
    - Included the modded S6 Camera app clear data and cache for camera app for better results
    - Edge People Swipe notification activated.
    - Floating notifications and floating settings activated
    - Fixed FC while using screen mirroring
    - Added charging animation when phone is powered off.
    - Some tweaks for better RAM management and power saving.
    - Others I do not remember
    SystemUI
    - Enabled ActiveApps / Jobsmanager in recents
    - Changed Ambient Display screen on time to 6 seconds

    Aurora Lollipop S4 GT-I9505 - HITMAN-CREED Edition v1.0

    First thanks to our Great Devs : @alemtro95 & @Albe95
    This is NOT a New Rom, only i have gathered all the fixes of the whole thread and some advices. Links are in Magenta Color.

    Instructions:

    1. You must have root access & custom recovery like Philz Touch 6.59.0
    2. Then in recovery do Full Wipes (System, Data, Dalvik Cache, Cache)
    3. Choose Install Zip in recovery, and choose the Rom Zip.
    4. After first boot (it takes 10 to 15 minutes) go to Setting/Privacy and safety/ and turn off Report diagnostic info. (100% Do This!)

    Some Changes:

    • Added 5.1.1 Accuweather Widget & Weather Daemon
    • Added S4 Original Camera with S6 Icon
    • Added Original S6 Keyboard with the option to download all the languages
    • Removed Secondary Symbol in Keyboard
    • Fixed Menu Key Button
    • Fixed Video Player FC
    • Added International CSC
    • Translated Setup Wizard

    Important Notes: (Please 100% read these posts completely & Don't Spam)


    • After flashing the Rom, if you don't have Signal or have Network problem : You Must Update your Modem & Bootloader.
      You can Update your Modem & Bootloader in Two Ways:
      1. You can update them by flashing an 5.0.1 Official Lollipop Rom with Odin then flash the custom recovery & flash this Aurora Rom. The Latest Official Rom is OH2 Click Here to Download the Official OH2 Rom. ( Easiest Way )
      2. Or if you don't want to download the whole official rom, You can update them by separately flashing them: Here are the Tutorial & Download Links.
    • For changing the Language of the whole ROM to your favorite one: First Download Language Enabler from googleplay and select your language and reboot.
    • Bluetooth causes system crash. To solve this problem Download and install This Flashable Zip via recovery.
    • For making your Rom faster & increase battery life & increase performance it is Highly Recommended to Download Greenify & Greenify (Donation Package)& Titanium Backup and have a look at the Two First Post of This Thread.
