It shouldnt cause any problem you can go ahead and give it a shot.
If u are not having any probleb with voice quality over calls then its fine no need to flash...as for the app button you have to enable it from tw launcher menu..long press home screen the there will be option of home settings go to home contents and change it from there ...
It works on my fone other can tell you about theirs

dude im pretty busy nowdays because of my exams ..translating a rom needs alot of patience..as i told i will look into it in my spare time ..i have noted your request
