Marshmallow for GT-P52XX is here. It currently lacks a lot of things to be a daily driver but is usable for people who want to get a taste of the latest Android release.
Oh..man this is great, the future it's even brighter, amazing indeed!!!
This is really where that multi/dual boot would be very useful having both of these beauties running on our tab 3!!!
Thanks champ!!!
You're a genius!!! Amazing

I'm going to wait a bit before flashing but seriously this is amazing work. I was happy enough to get CM12 for this but to get Mashmellow is awesome. Thanks for giving all of us ‘new' devices.

@nels83 iam happy testing the my device with 6.0, Wi-Fi really good here no issues at all, apart from all the mentions from the "NOT WORKING SECTION"
1.when screen off, only button working it's POWER BUTTON, thus can't turn screen on using HOME BUTTON from sleep

2.open gapps for x86 in the link on OP have no DEFAULT FILE MANAGER

3.Sd card FORMAT not recognised even though working well on any previous android version...FORMATTING OBLIGATORY..Possibly a measure taken by ANDROID M to use extSdCards as internal memory card for installing apps to.

3.Will mention other this as testing continues

Really great so far playing around android multitasking very good ,but there seems to be some bugs were you're forced to run at least 2 windows at once!
Can't run only one floating window, but that's really great so far!!!
Just gonna stay with this version till good updates!!!

@nels83 how can we add on screen navigation bar on this build, this code added to build.prop don't work:: QEMU.HW.MAINKEYS=0
And also for future builds are you planning include any tweaks,or we're going RAW on this one?

@nels83 ...Not idea quote myself but just clearing that the on screen navigation worked, I entered the command badly initially!!
Hoping that I ain't out of line, is there any open-gapps beyond pico four x86,most I've seen are arm32/64 mini packages!!
Thanks for the ROM
You've really done what we most thought would be impossible for this tablet...as support was not stable around 2013!!
You're time and efforts are highly appreciated!!!

Really enjoying using this alpha build, I'm always WiFi on my tab, so don't mind that RIL is still under development ,most of my apps from CM 12.1 work here but KODI opens but can't use it at all, doesn't respond to touch...lol!!!

@nels83 is it a known thing phenomena on android M that microSDcards needs formatting before use?
My sdcard is fat32 samsung micro SD, but android M claims that it's UNSUPPORTED FORMAT, provides me with 2 option to SET UP the card and both of them end up with ERASE & FORMAT!!

    Hey guys,

Some notes on what's going on. CM13 is on its way, I'll release it in a few weeks. I'll then stop AOSP 6 dev (well, it's already stopped since I'm working on CM13...).
OpenGapps seems to be quite unstable these days. I remember having a working tablet before updating OpenGapps and seeing all those FCs. Maybe you could try older versions.
As for houdini... I think there's very little hope :(

Last thing is exfat and f2fs support: TWRP3 will be released at the same time as CM13. They'll have the same exfat and (updated) f2fs code so no more sdcard working only in TWRP or CM and hopefully less f2fs bugs.

That's it for now, I'm going back to dev ;)
