Quite a few people asked for test driving CM13.0/marshmellow. However since a lot of stuff was broken, we felt it didnt make much sense to put a flashable ROM out there. But a lot of progress has been made and the basic functionality (more or less) seems to work now, so I thought let's open a thread where people can dump their unofficial Cm13.0 versions for others to try.

If you want a stable version, use the official Cm12.1: http://xdaforums.com/note-4/orig-development/official-cm12-910f-910g-t3046965

This thread will be active untill we feel it's stable enough to make it official.

XDA:DevDB Information
Unofficial CM13.0 910F/G, ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4

ROM OS Version: 6.0.x Marshmallow

Version Information
Status: Beta

Created 2015-11-07
Last Updated 2015-11-07

Notes:
1) Make sure you are on COI3 bootloader and modem

Installation instructions:

1) You'll probably want to backup your exisiting installation with TWRP
2) Do a full factory reset
3) Flash this ROM:https://mega.nz/#!LcYkjDgA!e_wG4Cn0hoLeZOy6hHsSUeuOfKuPcxsY-QXnngP7F7o
4) Flash these blobs https://mega.nz/#!CFxUBDxb!QET17v0B-1ana-VQ_EnGzH7RnUZ-vyCHGaGVdV6Ih6M
5) Flash these gapps: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347844834

If other people upload a ROM, you most likely do NOT have to flash blobs. I just have it seperately but in my next ROM it will probably be included too. So if somebody posts a ROM, all you need is that ROM and gapps.

If you want to build it yourself, @fattire wrote this wonderful tutorial: http://xdaforums.com/note-4/orig-de...-910f-910g-t3046965/post63488099#post63488099

Other notes:
* You guys might want to try the Marshmellow multi window mode ! Enable it in the developer options. Once enabled, go to the recent apps and press the symbol next to the X for windows you want.
* You'll probably want to enable MTP over USB by default, also in developer options
* Enable root also, again, via developer options.

Known bugs/problems

* Finger print scanner is not up yet (we'll give it a shot soon)
* I've seen some battery drains, not sure if they still persist, I expect they do.
* NFC not working
* Probably a lot more

KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS STILL HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL AND NOT MEANT TO BE A DAILY DRIVER FOR THE AVERAGE USER AT THIS POINT

I think there is some battery drain caused by the cellular network always trying to find LTE, since you're not in LTE area and can't select wcdma/gsm only

It worked after recopying it.

    Well onto some good news then :) I was just looking at the prices of a new screen, in the states they're pretty cheap, $150. I can assemble it myself. Shipping it to my country would make it costly though but I'll be in the states as of the 23th this month ! So I figured I'm going to order a new screen for $150 instead of a whole new Nexus 6p. Because let's face it, a note 4 running CM13 or a Nexus 6p, not much difference there, so spending $600 on that, is a waste .

    So I'm hopefully back in the Note 4 scene before end of the month ;)

    Just wanted to say that I've ordered a new display for my Note, I will hopefully be back here end of the month !

    From Monday I will start compiling CM13 already with fingerprint running and with good battery life. I'm currently compiling to test

    So I just received my new screen... Still doesn't work. Not sure why. But I am going to give up on my phone. I just bought a Nexus 6p. In some aspects I like the note 4 better: the bezels on the nexus 6p are a bit too big and the screen on the note 4 is slightly better. But man this 6p is smooth! It's easily killing the note 4. I like the phone a lot and will stay on it until the 820 comes out I guess.

    Anyway sad news, wish I had better news for you guys but this is really the end of the note 4 development for me. Everybody who supported me, both with words or donations, thanks a lot for your support. Maybe we will meet again on another device.
