Yep the RR-mm is almost ready and running on some nexus and other devices .
as soon as mi4i source(cm13.0) gets compatible with RR-mm you'll start receiving ota update's.
I broke my mi4i , though i'll maintain this thread .

Hi, I'm facing problem with mobile data connection, mostly LTE. I see the connection is active - LTE icon in status bar, but apps don't have a connection. It's happening just time to time, not always, but it's really big problem for me. Anybody else with this problem?
I'm also using MiBand for unlocking the phone, but very often it's not detected and I need to draw a gesture to unlock the phone.
Last problem, which is annoying for me: when I turn on double tap to wake, the phone is very often unlocked in my pocket and it's dialing some number or similar things. I thing double tap to wake can be useful only in combination with pocket detection function (I'm not sure how exactly is this function called), but I didn't found this function in this ROM.

You have a list of questions there. so far the only few i can answer. the double tap to wake causes the wake in pocket is due to lacking of proximity sensor at work. therefore, as long as there is triggers of double tap, the screen will wake.

For the LTE part. maybe is ur mobile carrier's coverage.

For the data connection, are you sure that mobile data is on? or maybe the apps aren't getting the required permissions to access the internet...

Doubletap2wake wasn't implemented with pocket detection mode. There isn't much to say for this...

For the data connection: yes, i have data switched on and it has a connection only sometimes (it's not stable). when i switched preferred connection type to 3G its ok, but I hadn't this problem with MIUI (so its not a problem with my operator).

Yes i know that, but it was working much more better with MIUI. Now I need to draw the gesture manually, aprox. every 3rd try.

I know that too, but its a pity, as on MIUI it was working fine.

When I used Google maps with location setting to high accuracy for navigation while driving, the phone restarted itself after about 10-15 minutes. And that had happened to me I think twice, in a row.

Didn't have that happened... Is everything on stock? or is the phone hot while it is on?

Hello,

I am running the latest version but have a lot of trouble since that time.
I have run CM12.1 first that worked without any problems.
Then changed to other rom's for the extra options. Also worked.
But they had some trouble with the phone shutting down when a call came in.
So i tried this rom.

I have trouble with the phone not charging fully.
About 1 day it charges normally, then the next day when i go to bed, the charger is working, but the next morning, the battery is NOT full (sometimes 75, sometimes 90% or whatever, never the same).

If i then unplug the power cord and plug it in again, nothing happens. :crying:
I have to completely reboot the phone, to get it charging again.

Does anybody know about this and have a solution?
Otherwise i will have to go back to one of the other rom's, because i need a fully loaded phone during the day.

I started from 7.0.3 > 5.6.11 > RR (With gApps on OP). Because Open Gapps (u mentioned 2-3 pages back) gives errors after first time installation, when it asks to enter gmail id then play store got crashed error keeps on popping.
Tried several time. But still same.
Now installed with gapps on OP, running pretty smooth, but facing random reboots and UI freeze, once in a while.

I experienced sam strange stuffs with battery on MI 4i, also on my ex phone, Redmi 1S. In both case, Battery Calibration app was fix a problem.

I use this Rom for about three weeks and had faced with only one issue. That is random shutdown. I can't understand what action causes it, but it might happens when I block the phone or probably listen to music via poweramp player.

Frozen screen after install

Hi, i recently bought the Mi 4i. Rooted it & installed TWRP recovery. I need some help here, i flashed this ROM & after the initial boot my phone screen freezes, no response whatsoever, the touchscreen & buttons do not work, though the interface is visible. When i force restart the phone, I've the same issue. I flashed the ROM (clean flash) over rooted MIUI 7. The steps i followed:
1. Boot into TWRP, factory reset
2. Cache & Dalvik wipe
3. Flashed RR rom 25 Nov build
4. Cache & Dalvik wipe
5. Flashed gapps micro 5.1 ARM64
6. Cache & Dalvik wipe
7. Reboot

Some guidance would be much appreciated!
