I didn't get around to using the dictionary on v5 so not sure. I guess it's worth a try.did it work on v5? if so it's because i switched to the n5 keyboard. i can do a flashable for the s6 keyboard and n5 keyboard so you can switch
I guess this issue is also related to the lack of predictive text settings. In fact i think that's where the dictionary settings are. As it stands you can select/deselect predictive text but you can't get to the menu as usual. If i remember correctly the predictive text menu should have dictionary, learn writing style from text etc.I didn't get around to using the dictionary on v5 so not sure. I guess it's worth a try.
Something broke the Youtube app between V5 and V7. Clean install V7, tried install Youtube apk from mods_V5 like OvrDriVE said and update through Play store, the videos that are in 480P max work but as soon as you try any video that are in 1080p you get green screen, you might be able to make it work playing between resolution 720p to 1080p but still when you play another video the green screen returns (always with sound btw). Also, even if you manage to play in 1080p it freezes sometime (I have a fast connection, 280 MBPS down, so no bandwidth issue).
Just want to point out that I have the W8 model. I Have never had an issue until now, will go back to V5 until somebody figures out a fix or maybe next version will fix it.
BTW, best rom out there by far, no offense to the other great developers, just personal taste.
Thank you for V7! Anyway for wallpaper scrolling yet? I installed modded launcher and love how you've incorporated infinite scroll but miss the wallpaper scrolling on top of that too.
Also do what ovrDrive recommended for YouTube. Completely uninstall whatever YouTube you have installed with Titanium. Then reboot. Then go into mods folder in recovery and flash (from bloat folder) and flash YouTube Zip. Then reboot. Open up YouTube and tell it "Later" about installing new version of YouTube from PlayStore. Use YouTube without green videos n profit. Also secondarly go into PlayStore settings and tell it not to update Apps automatically.
Just an fyi, I did for youtube what OD suggested, I installed the mod version of youtube, then updated in playstore, could not get rid of green screen, so used Titanium to completely uninstall youtube app, then rebooted, then clean install in playstore, and all is good now, but the first time it came up, green screen, tried different video and all is good, all videos are good now... so that is my experience with it.
Tap& hold on homescreen > Tap on 'home Screen settings' > 'Home screen content' > Select 'Show separate Apps screen'Nice rom , has lots of mods its quite enjoyable. I did notice on this version 7 that when you switch the homescreen style from not having an app drawer to have the app drawer that scrolling does not work. When you open the app drawer. I installed nova launcher and that gave me the ability to use a working app drawer.
I've always used TBO's Black YouTube - never had a problem. People looking for a quick fix might find it there. I just flashed it in TWRP & viola! all good!
On a separate note (haha! No pun intended....) -
Is there a way to get Android Pay to work on this ROM? Something with systemless root or something? I am seriously interested in making this work on this ROM but haven't a clue. I know OD had used systemless a while back on his N4 ROM but I believe he discontinued that aspect of the ROM due to multiple issues. Since then, has anyone been able to get Android Pay to work?
i don't think it works on the n4 however this being a n5 port you can try systemless root 2.68 and install android pay and see what happens when you try to add a card. to make it work though you may have to disable root. then reenable after paying
I'm sewing a way but I've got to disable Xposed as well and I'm wondering if that requires a reboot to take effect. If not, then it'll likely be as simple as a Tasker profile. Hhhmmm...
Thanks for the suggestion. Now I've got a bone to chew for a while!
Yep confirmed working now on all resolutions. Thanks @OvrDriVE sure glad you will be with the note 6 when it drops. You're one dev on the ball! ? donation soonyoutube green video fix.
