You have to choose UPDATE option to flash KDZ files...

Like @melorib says above - choose "update", select the kdz file, then you can change the setting back to "refubrish" and clean flash the system.

just to be clear, what's the difference between "Upgrade" and "Refurbish" again?

Refurbish will delete all your phones data ..you use upgrade if you wants to upgrade from LP to MM and it wont delete anything

Refurbish will wipe your current data including settings, and re-install everything, Upgrade will just replace what is new, leave everything else, including settings

got it. i just did a refurbish now and will go to LG service center in a couple of minutes.

i find it really weird that even if it is just the earphone that needs to be repaired, they require that the phone unit must be unrooted because that's where the warranty is associated or something. they once caught me rooting my phone, hopefully, they won't later.

once i got my earphone replaced, i'm going back to rooting my LP

thanks again to all who helped and enlightened me in restoring to stock OS :good:

Yes you can .. Download LP kdz firmware for you device the with LGUP install it

but i cant find LP kdz for my device...

thats my problem.

i found something but when i reach 80% in LG UP i am getting an error 0x200 or something like that....

You need to download it again . maybe its bad file ..just download it and try again

I am from Israel too

There is no KDZ files at all for H960AY (Ronlight did not release)
But, you can flash KDZ for H960YK and it will work
