I would love to flash this ROM, but have a couple questions.
I am currently on rooted SLiM ROM V4.9 (Android 5.1.1) with Xposed.

1. Can I really "dirty" flash without wiping data? Will most of my apps remain intact? (I don't have space for a proper Ti backup.)
2. Is it enough to add the "disabled" file to /data/data...xposed or do I have to actually uninstall xposed?

Thanks!

Yes, flash dirty no wipes...
(SLiMM will auto wipe system and leave data ie. Apps untouched...)
And if you meticulously check every single module in Xposed, if they are Marshmallow compatible, leave enabled, and not Marshmallow compatible, uninstall or disable that aren't, should be fine...

@Wajk I have a feature request if it's not too complicated to implement.

I would like to be able to review the photos made in locked camera mode. Now I first have to unlock the phone and find the Google photos app. If I recall correctly this was possible before, maybe with the stock gallery app?

Is updating Google Apps and Services to run some apps that aren't currently running (crashing because of Google Services and erros of the sort) something we can do by ourselves or do we need to wait for the new release of the full rom? Thanks.

You can do it yourself, just install the right version. Maybe you will lose some optimization, but probably it will solve your problems.

Any tips for someone who want to install this on a Z3c MM stock?
I never made a single modification, Im kinda scared to make something bad.
Since the warranty is gone now and the MM made my battery life worst than when I was using LP, I want to get this one.

Since the warranty is gone now and the MM made my battery life worst than when I was using LP, I want to get this one.

Start by downloading SuperSU.zip, remember where it is downloaded to on your phone.
Install Z3 compact drivers on your PC
Download Slim 2.5 to your phone, likewise, remember where it's downloaded to.
Then download Recovery & Root for MM .575 LB, on your PC.
Go into phone settings/about phone, go down to build number and keep pressing it, eight times, then you will see 'developer unlocked'. Go back up the settings menu into developer options, enable 'usb debugging'.
Then start the recovery and root program on your PC and plug your phone in. When the PC program is finished it will restart your phone into recovery. Install SuperSU.zip, turn phone off.
Reboot phone into recovery (turn the power on and wait for the green led light, then press the down volume till the light goes purple), make a backup of the data.
While in recovery flash slim, wipe cache/dalvic in advanced wipe, restart phone and let it finish booting. Go into settings/backup and reset, reset phone, restart phone and go into recovery.
Restore data from your previous backup.

Then you will have a Slim build after a factory reset with all your data restored from your previous build. You can do it without the factory reset, but it fixes lots of problems, especially coming from other builds or with historical data.

Same issue for me on SLiMM 2.5

Battery life on Slim 2.5 is better than ever and I am looking at 4 days between charges. There are lots of reasons why Google Play Services are eating your battery, try a few fixes yourself, check which version of Play Services you have installed , anything older than 9.4.52 needs replacing. Remove your google account, wipe data for Play Services and Download manager, restart to recovery, wipe cache/dalvik. Restart phone, add account again.
There seems to be issues with fitness trackers and bluetooth, if you have bluetooth on all the time, see what happens if you turn it off?

I checked and got 9.4.52.
I try removing the account when im back at home and in WLAN again.
Just a question: How to "wipe data for Play Services and Download manager"?

Would it also be helpfull to just factory reset SLiMM 2.5?

A little more work to do afterwards, but it should be clean then, shouldn't it?

Settings/apps/google play services - force stop - storage - manage space - clear all data. Likewise Download manager, then restart.
Yes, factory reset fixes a lot of stuff, espesially if you come from another build or did a drity flash from other firmware.

I'll do a factory reset then later.

But theres another thing:
How did you do the upgrade to 23.5.A.1.238?
I'm still running 23.5.A.0.575 (Flashtool - flashed some 0.575 build, used Root from here http://xdaforums.com/z3-compact/general/recovery-root-mm-575-lb-t3418714 and installed SLiMM 2.3, and later 2.5).

All Slim builds later than 2.0 are based on 23.5.A.1.238, but to get this you must flash the full rom, not the OTA.

In TWRP I flashed it "dirty" 2 times now (first time 2.3, second time 2.5, no OTA updates so far). Also no wipes or clears or anything like that...
I just installed it and wiped Dalvik, as the post on page 1 says.

Still it says 23.5.A.0.575

Hi, I found this thread on google and it seems like the latest google play services is really buggy and causing huge batttery drain. (mobile radio active more than 1 hour). I've got a z2 on the latest marshmallow and play services worked way better on version 9.2.56 (not 9.4.52). If you guys find a solution, please let me know :)
