What is the status order? Does it go
order place, processing then shipped, or is it
processing, order placed, then shipped?

I called T-Mobile and they claimed it's processing, order placed, then shipped... I ordered 6 minutes after preorders went live, coral blue but it still says order placed...

AT&T store has units in stock but won't sale. Of course not for sale. Going to check my local T-Mobile store and see if they show me something.

Marketing box. Everyone has the black boxes.

Thought I'd shake up the thread
My heart, it can't take much more.

I'm thinking, if they don't ship this week, I'll cancel and pick one up first thing the 19th. I of course am depending on a label created notification and this thread to keep track. Lol

Ha. I am ahead of all of you. Instead of checking website, I am checking bank account. This way I will know if card is charged before phone is shipped.

Sad thing is, I actually enjoy the crap out of my Note 5. But 7 is just too damn sexy not to anticipate it every second. And I am a grown-ass adult too...
Same... For pretty much ALL OF THAT... Uggggh

Reading this thread is so funny. LOL. You guys are like vultures swarming around its prey.
Was thinking the same thing. I am excited about the phone as well, but I keep thinking, I'm an adult and it's just a thing. I don't want to get mad about it if it ships late or cancel my order if I don't get it before The stores have it. But I would definitely be disappointed if that happens. I also really like the Note 5, but the 7 is super sexy.

As an adult with adult responsibilities, I still think I will flip the **** out if I do not have it in my hands on 19th.

Seriously though, does anyone who's been through this preorder process thinks this is completely normal? I mean, for a 1st time pre-orderer, but a looong time smartphone nerd (back from the crackberry days) - this stuff seems a very erratic. Just wondering if this is similar to the way it's gone down in the past - just to have everyone eventually get their devices early anyway?!?

    UPDATE 9/2/2016:

Samsung Issues Statement About Faulty Devices:
    https://news.samsung.com/global/statement-on-galaxy-note7

Samsung is committed to producing the highest quality products and we take every incident report from our valued customers very seriously. In response to recently reported cases of the new Galaxy Note7, we conducted a thorough investigation and found a battery cell issue.

To date (as of September 1) there have been 35 cases that have been reported globally and we are currently conducting a thorough inspection with our suppliers to identify possible affected batteries in the market. However, because our customers’ safety is an absolute priority at Samsung, we have stopped sales of the Galaxy Note7.

For customers who already have Galaxy Note7 devices, we will voluntarily replace their current device with a new one over the coming weeks.

We acknowledge the inconvenience this may cause in the market but this is to ensure that Samsung continues to deliver the highest quality products to our customers. We are working closely with our partners to ensure the replacement experience is as convenient and efficient as possible.

    T-Mobile Acknowledges It & Issues Refunds-Future Exchange:
    https://newsroom.t-mobile.com/news-and-blogs/samsung-note7-update.htm

Earlier today, Samsung announced that it has stopped sales globally of the Galaxy Note7. T-Mobile has suspended sales of the device in all channels.

We are working closely with Samsung as they are finalizing details of their exchange program for the Note7, and we want to make sure T-Mobile customers are taken care of as Samsung works to resolve this.

Starting immediately, customers who are concerned about using the Note 7 can return the device to T-Mobile for a full, complete refund. They’ll get a full refund of anything paid for the device and any Note7 accessories. We’ll waive any restocking charges and shipping fees, and customers can keep the free Netflix subscription they received with purchase during pre-order.

Customers can visit their local T-Mobile store where they bought the device or call 611 or 1-800-937-8997 to do this, and they can then use their refund to choose a similar device or any device in T-Moble’s stores, including a new Note7 replacement which we expect to be available in the next two weeks.

We will update this statement as we have more information from Samsung regarding their exchange program for customers.

Just got off the phone with AT&T and they said FedEx won't ship out the UPS package till Sprint gives T-Mobile the okay.
    15
Exactly! That is part of my reason why I feel it's very risky for one to take action as if they(T-Mobile) "forgot"!
Very risky, let alone immoral. I may be blasted for this, but IMO anybody who keeps a phone with the full knowledge that he/she didn't pay for it is stealing. I had something similar happen to me with a DSLR I bought from Costco. They sent me two but only charged me for one. I was really stretched financially to buy this camera, so it was tempting to keep and sell the second one, but in the end, I thought I'd feel better about myself if I kept my character in tact; I took the second camera back to the closest Costco.

Anyway, I kind of feel like an idiot for posting this, and I know that many will disagree, but hey, thus concludes this week's sermon.
