I think Google has shot there self in the foot with the pixel phones being so expensive . they are kinda starting to act like apple
Yeah plus they are only going with big red and apple goes with all major carriers and that helps people to get the expensive phones on a payment plan I've had a nexus for years and you mean to tell me I have to pay 800 for a phone because it has a 821 and Google assistant and that's the 32 GB model haaaa I would rather a axon 7 for 400 or I'll keep my 6p even apple got 2 speakers on their phone this year wtf is Google thinking I bet you next year's phone price drops after this the phone looks like it's worth 450-500 tops for the plus
I have the axon 7 and the 6p.
AXON 7 speakers and hi-fi aux blow anything I've ever heard out of the market. It's an awesome phone, I get a full days use on a single charge no problem. Battery life is better on axon than it is my 6p.
Plus..... micro sd.....
Caveat is the dev community is not even comparable to 6p.. But unlocked bootloader, xposed, root, and twrp are available for it.
All major oems f'ed up this quarter. (Except LG and Motorolla is in a questionable state IMO)
I'd definitely keep the 6p. Pixl? Meh.. Projects like this will keep the phone alive AND interesting for years to come.

For others who are a little wary of playing around with ADB and Fastboot, it might be easier to understand watching some of Maowdroid's videos
he's a fellow Aussie who has a N6P and has little tutorials that explain how to root, update rooted ROMs, using Flashfire, etc... came in handy when I needed a refresher after being out of the game for a while, lol

These videos helped fix my issues with adb/fastboot also (on Windows 10)
