Awesome ROM, I just recently installed the latest Marshmallow version and it runs supurb. Not sure its time to move up just yet; when everything is perfect now. Thank you for the great work!
Found the same issue on on dynamic Gapps bit found a fix. Settings> apps > gear icon > all permissions then storage access then pick the app you had that problem, in my case was setting alarm but after doing this I was able to set an alarm tone
You need the NRD90X vendor image for this release. The download link is in Beans post.

3.4 A: Go into Settings > Apps > Hangouts > Storage and clear the app data.

What happens when you open the Google app through the app drawer? What happens with you hold down the home key to access Now on Tap?

Is the latest rom version safe to flash on my NBD90x 6P? I'm a noob and pretty scared of bricking my phone. Thanks in advance.
There are no cards and the options to customize are greyed out. Now on Tap works fine.
Tried OpenGapps and it's fine now....
I keep getting a Driver install Failed : V4A couldnt aquire root permission, even though my device is rooted.
Everything working great so far, just 1 question. I have an android version and a google version of the phone/dialer and the calculator. Is there a difference? Android versions I can't uninstall, google versions I can. Any noticeable differences?

Did you follow step .6 and reboot? Once you do that play a song and turn viper on and off if it's not working hit uninstall driver and play the song and turn on and off should be good to go.

a couple things to note:
*not all mods from marshmallow will be in the first build so be patient as i add your favorite mods, etc!
*as of right now the rom only has substratum legacy support. will update to full blown substratum as the stability increases for N!
*changelog doesnt display anything for this first build as all changes are listed on github/xda op, changelog will be back next release!

change log might not look that big but a lot of work went into making sure everything is smooth and stable!!
next release will focus on adding some more missing features from 6.0 but the main one theme-able battery's are now here

Donations are always appreciated but never required, I am only posting the link for convenience, Donate link260New 7.0 Build with some more features, and some fixs, i am aware that 7.1.0 has dropped(pixel development branch) however it is not the final 7.1 and would be unstable as it stands right now(no kernel source, no gapps, etc). so i am going to stick with 7.0 until the final 7.1.1 source is live for stabilitys sake
Also i have taken over support of banks gapps and rebranded them as just "Dynamic Gapps" mini & full, mini is the traditional banks gapps, and full is purenexus gapps
