I now found version 6.6 and it immediately got installed.
for install update in 6.6 just flash v6.6 via TWRP ..Without any additional work.

If you have been using stock N920C firmware and no other mods than SkyHigh kernel ? Have you had any SoD (sleep of death == black screen) using kernel default values ?? From v5.8.1 , v6.2.0, v6.5.0, v6.6.0 ???
I've had it a couple of times, usually within a few hours of flash. But after, it's been very stable. Like I had only one SoD when I was away for 9 weeks !! (not bad, but not perfect either)
But just wondering if you had experienced anything similar ? My logs haven't given me any real idea, but my guess is to do with some of the screen mods.

Just would you please tell me a bit more about SOD? What exactly it is? What you mean by that? Is it a bug or sth?

I've had it since v6.2.0. I have just bought Note5 recently so I haven't used any version before.
It usually happens when the environment light changes significantly. For example when the phone is in a dark environment and the lights are turned on, then I press the power button. There's also a case where I'm outside and I take my phone out of the pocket and it just happens. It doesn't always happen so it's hard to reproduce.
No. It's not "it". I have never had anything similar.

It's 'up in the air' with uppercase 'i' and no 'a' between 'i' and 'n', just saying [emoji38] [emoji38] Go 'reset factory' and flash su, if you're not gonna use this kernel. Otherwise you don't have to flash su etc. Just rom and Sky High. [emoji106]

exactly same issue with my N9208... to knock out of SoD i have hold power button and vol down and it restarts. Some time this gesture results in loosing some data. I believe i lost root/superSU coz of this..
Yes. You must reflash SkyHigh kernel.
AGAIN. If you are going to post a bug report, the please do so following the requirements laid out top of POST #3. Otherwise your post is next to useless and doesn't help anyone, let alone you. Know what I mean..
EDIT: just had a look at you post history. Looks like you may be using a Note7 post or other UX type ROM?. If that's the case, you should re-read my release post detailing what firmware SkyHigh actually supports.

I would really refer to have feedback using that latest stock N9200ZHS3BPI3 (unmodified) firmware. The kernel is best optimized for that since source and ramdisk match.
- Backup
- Wipe system, cache, ART (dalvik) in TWRP
- Boot into DL mode and flash N9200ZHS3BPI3 with Odin
- Allow system to boot and stabilize
- Boot into DL and flash latest TWRP (do not auto reboot - manually do it)
- Boot into TWRP and flash SkyHigh kernel (do nothing else except reboot when finished)
- Done )
- Fingers crossed and test away . . . .

I can not confirm this. Never lost any data or root using this great kernel. Even on testing oc or uv when phone stucks or reboot.

Hi UpInTheAir, I did step by step and I install synapse myself, but it shows No UCI support.
I did all the steps once again but the situation is still the same.
......
Then this problem solved when I wiped my data, art and cache again. Synapse works for now!

Please post a screenshot of your Synapse INFO page with firmware version etc. (No device serial number).
As you have wiped data, please re-flash the kernel !!
