Did you try MPB? That was the one that I've flashed here.

I've tried it here and it works, but the difference in sound quality is small (maybe because I use PowerAMP).
Yes Poweramp is a beast, sometimes I am about to buy it but then I just don't do it ahah.
Can you post a guide to flash and install viper4android on this ROM? Or is it the same everywhere? I really don't know much about it.

Just download the apk, install and when you open it will ask if you want to install the driver. Install and reboot.
about busy box and build.prop editing, is it needed or just do the steps you told?
CM12.1 has busybox already. You just need the steps that I told.
There are a lot of Nougat ROMs out there and I don't have the required knowledge to include new features, so I just download the updated source code and build CM12.1 for those who miss the performance of Lollipop on Titan (I began to build CM12.1 for personal use and later I find out that I wasn't the only one who prefers LP instead of MM).

This is the updated build with the latest security patches from Google and bug fixes from CM Team.
TWRP version recommended: 2.8.6.0 or up
Bootloader Version: Bootloader of Stock 5.0.2 or up.
Instructions:
Download the latest build and gapps
Reboot to recovery
Clean install: Advanced Wipe (clean all, except external sdcard and usb otg)
Flash the latest build and gapps
Reboot
